i just downloaded version 1.1, i've been using 1.0
in both versions, space combat won't allow me to select more than about 10 fighter or bomber squadrons.
if i scroll and try to add them all at once, it will select only about 10 fighter or bomber squadrons out of many and with capital ships or corvettes underneath
if i add them one at a time, it works just fine. so i have to select capital ships one at a time underneath them. it doesn't interfere with gameplay much, it just gets kinda annoying.

and number two: it has happened on several different planets, always land combat. i land my guys and they are far away from the control point, so i lose the battle if i use vehicles since i can't capture a point and bring in reinforcements. what is even stranger but helpful is having the units i landed in random points across the map, and having two or three times the amount i brought it. and i'm sure the land combat range has already been said enough.

Land is broken. 'Nuff said, really. Just wait until Space is finished, and PR and his cohorts will get down and dirty with Land, and (Quote hopefully) make it shine.

Not sure what's up with the Space selection, though. It's just one of those things you kind of have to deal with. I think PR had a theory that the game engine treats each Fighter/Bomber, etc. as a separate unit. This would not have been a problem in vanilla so much, since squadrons were like four units, but PR has squadrons set at the corredt number of 12, so there's plenty more on the field.

i think that theory would work. in galactic mode, you see tooltip kinda flashups in the bottom left. and when they say stuff like "empire major victory at coruscaunt, units lost 100"
they include individual units, not the whole group.
can't wait until they get it all finished. phoenix rising is how eaw should have been done in the first place.

This only happens with the Empire? Usually on raids? I'm thinking something's messed up with the landing zone markers...

That happened to me once or twice when I played the CSA vs. Empire on a multiplayer CW campaign against Evilbob. The planet was Balmorra, I believe. Not sure about single player, but I know in multiplayer it was a useless venture once I was away from a control point with infantry only against AT-STs. The distance was closed almost instantly for the enemy, and I was able to reach nothing in order to bring in reinforcements. (Though, Infantry is useless against AT-STs, really.)

ok. so when it happens to me (messed up landing and double vehicles) it's always with the empire. but not always on raids.
