This is my latest map, Hide and Seek KiLL3R, which is basically what I think Hide and Seek KILLER (by Admiral Lee) should be like. Take a look at the screenshots if you don't want to read my full description - either way I think you will like it...

This is the link.

Haven't got BFME II, so can only speak from the screenshots. It looks well made. Could do with a proper minimap along with some more textures.

Thanks. I don't have photoshop so rather than trying to make something that looks like one on Gimpshop I decided that it might work just to take a top-down shot of worldbuilder (without labels and stuff). It's funny how even with all the range in colour it's much less in terms of memory size than the auto-generated one. I admit in the 'fire pit', the snowy plateau and the cliffs (and perhaps Shelob's lair) the textures are a bit boring but I suppose I didn't want to spend too long doing textures knowing how successful Admiral Lee's Hide and Seek KILLER was and that had basically 4 textures (mostly in blocks of the same texture rather than mixed together) and no cliff textures.

Wouldn't your map be all the more successful then, for having both excellent gameplay and aesthetics?
The gameplay sounds very interesting though, and it's clear yo've put in a lot of effort to improve a well loved map :thumbsupsmiley:

The textures aren't that bad are they? I just didn't want to spend ages making sure everything was near enough to perfect. I generally go by the ethos that the more work you put into scripting and ini coding (though there is no ini file here - a fair bit of scripting), the less you need to do on textures - or at least as long as it passes beyond a certain level... Anyway I'm happy enough with the texturing as it is now :thumbsupsmiley:

I have now also uploaded my FFA King of the Hill map - follow the link for more details and screenshots.
The textures are a bit less interesting than my Hide and Seek map but the game is just as fun :).

I'm going to go ahead and revive this thread because I seem to have missed it the first time :xcahik_:. These maps look very interesting, I'll give them a try soon and let you know what I think.
