I'm a 56ker & I don't really give a crap if a file takes 1sec to d/l or 10sec, I mean what are you gona to with a few extra seconds, cure world hunger or something! :roll:
It's only really helpful if your one of them ppl who d/l mp3's all day...

seriously though..would you wanna post in a forum were you make 1 post a day and it takes 20 seconds or more to open a page. remember you cant get those 20 seconds back.

ok the only time it takes me 20 seconds to load in a page is if it has lots of GFX, it takes like 10 secs to post something and view it. I think it would make browsing much easier.
Okay, now if you'll back at the weather map you'll see that we don't have one. Try to picture last night's map in your mind, picture all of the little lines and rivers.
The temperature at the airport is 88 degrees which is stupid cause I don't know anyone who lives at the airport.
Tonights forecast: dark. Continued dark tonight until turning to partially light in the morning.

56K isn't that slow at all. Fast enough for any webpages without any video.
When I think about it, I don't need ADSL, cause all I use it to download a TON of stuff (thereby filling up my 60 gig hard drive and forcing me to get another hard drive).

heh Bullethead in the Uk its were u live that depeneds if you have ADSL i live in the area so we got it, i dont pay my dad pays for it from BT cos my 56k modem bills were coming to £30 a month so thats why i have dsl.

I wasnt refering to people with dsl chemical. I was refering to the people with 56k. Im not gonna argue about this cause it is pointless I really dont care whats done anymore since I do have dsl as well. Just trying to look out for the ones with slower connections is all.
