Beta Patch 14 has been released. Check out the patch notes here.
We see the Archon's build time has been decreased from 17 to 12. This perhaps will mean more Archons will be used.
The Terran Viking's Anti-Ground damage has been decreased form 14 to 12. I think this is a necessary change, and now the viking will really be made to be an anti-air unit and have less use on the ground.
The Corruptor's Corruption Ability energy cost has been decreased from 100 to 75. This is probably fair. Personally I think the corruption ability is silly, and should be redone entirely. Just buffing it won't make people actually use it, people resent it because it doesn't fit into Starcraft.
The Infestor's burrowed movement speed has been increased from 1 to 2. Huge difference, now it will really be able to use that burrowed movement to it's advantage. The Peristalsis upgrade has been removed, which previously caused the Infestor to move at 2 speed burrowed. (Meaning, the Infestor now moves at full speed while burrowed without the need of an upgrade.)
Pneumatized Carapace (overlord speed) cost has been increased from 50/50 to 100/100. This makes perfect sense, I always thought it was too cheap.
The Infested Terran Ability energy cost has been decreased from 125 to 100. This is much more fitting.
The Roach's Organic Carapace upgrade has been removed. This ability increased life regeneration while unburrowed. The Tunneling Claws ability (which allows the roach to move while burrowed,) now also increases burrowed regeneration rate from 5 to 10. This means the roach will be more burrow-dependant and really regenerate quickly while burrowed. More intensive burrow micro may be needed. This is an excellent change.
The Ultralisk's Anabolic Synthesis (speed) upgrade has been removed. It now moves at top speed (2.9531) without the need of an upgrade. Its life has also been increased from 450 to 500.
(Personally I think they should decrease the size of the Ultralisk, and fix frenzy and it would be good.)
