You should take a look at the mod called C&C Rewire http://www.ppmsite.c...78bd01a4981d29e

"Gangster" is remaking TS on the RA2 engine, but with very pretty artwork (shp and voxel) It would be great if Reloaded could use his work, instead of the original TS models.

I think that you two should work together on Reloaded, your skill & code, and his art.

What do yo think?

1º) Ganster is doing a GREAT job using his skills in recreating the RA1 assets and TS assets in his mods :xcahik_: .

2º) My target (of this mod) was to use the original models because (unfortunatelly) I'm nostalgic of the old C&C games :mellow:
Only I search for help or I try to do it myself if there is any thing that not exist in TS (after all, this is a hobby).

Now that you mention the "beta 1", I hate the versioning system that I used in this mod due to the complexity of the releases, I think that if I work more in the TS graphics directly I could rename to version 1.0 instead of "beta 4" (and the next 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 ...)

Cant wait for the next release, are you going to use Ares, Npatch AE, or the Rock Patch for you next Release?
Total Annihilation is the only battle strategy.

It will use stable releases of Ares.

since im too lazy to create my own topic (not really), ill use this one.
now, excuse me if you have already tought about it (since i havent played mod yet, i just dont know), but heres my suggsestion: both GDI and Nod harvesters look exactly the same, they have all same stats as well. besides that, they are lot less useful than war miner of soviets or chrono miner of allies (still better than slave miners lol). now, i tought, that it would be good to differentiate them a bit, at least with stats- Nod harvester could be quicker for example (as Nod employs stealth and mobility) and GDI harvester could have improved HP and/or cargo hold of tiberium.
again, sorry if you have tought about it already.

TS harvester already was upgraded with more tib. cargo, HP & if I'm not wrong (I'm not in the right PC to verify this) slightly more speed than in the original TS code.

Here is another suggsestion, maybe not so good. anyways, why not make this mod compactible with trainers? i mean singleplayer only. i only ask this (not cheating in campaign btw), since i know, that there are many players (including me btw), who like to use cheats to cripple the enemy early on and than build huge bases, just for eyecandy and fun. ofc there is possibility to modify rules.ini file, but i know, that many have messed that up a bit, also trainer is more better for your strategy needs.

I'm against trainers, sorry. You talk about single player games ,but who stop other people to cheat in online battles?

You always can edit the mod rules to cheat but in online games every player must have the same changes.

forgive my bluntness here, but isnt it impossible to use trainers online in original RA2 and YR? i mean, i havent played these long time, so i could be wrong, but i remember, that on some older c&c (before westwood was killed, before Tiberium wars), there was some c&c you couldnt use trainer online (only tested trainer on one game (cant remember wich one tough) just out of curiousity. was playing with my friend so no harm would have come). but again, i havent played RA2 or YR online long time, so i really dont know.

may i do another suggsestion: you should get someone (not me, i suck at this im about to offer) to make extra units initially for GDI and Nod, since they have less units and some areas are not as well covered as in YR sides, especially naval warfare (dont get me wrong, your units are great as well). Maybe some older units from times of TD (upgraded version) or something like that.
