Hi everyone, I have started a new project: The Siege of Dol Guldur, or something like that. ^_^
It will be an rpg styled (maybe), massive singleplayer mission map (vanilla Rotwk) where you complete many quests that eventually lead to the siege of DG. Would you like walkable walls? (not every wall though :p .) I have finished the hill today, and some walls.
I have a screenshot here, say hi to glorfindel:

Also, do you have any ideas for the fortress?
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.

Dol Guldur was most likely nothing more than a Tower (with dungeons) and an outer Wall.

Of all the buildings of Mordor, only the Black Tower and the Black Gate were build by Sauron. All the rest ... Minas Morgul (former Minas Ithil), the Tower (fortress) of Cirith Ungol, Durthang (in the Morgai), and even the 'Towers of the Teeth' (Narchost and Carchost) outside the Black Gate ... were all build by Gondor, and later captured and occupied by Sauron's forces.

Based on this, the most appropriate concept art would be:

EA has probably used this as inspiration for their BfMe1-model: art\w3d\mbblkgate.w3d, which despite the name hardly can be anything else than Dol Guldur.

Maybe I'll make a large hill surrounded with walls, spires and a tower at the top.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.
