man,that was a crap final,the worst i've ever seen.
it wasn't even football,it was more like karate,kongfu,etc....
spain deserved to win the game, but really, neither of those deserved to reach the finals,as spain only played good vs. germany, and holland the 2nd halftime of the games vs. the south americans.
the refree was horrible aswell.
the game for the 3rd place was alot better,
and the finals 2(ec final)and 4 years ago were 100xbetter,atleast in this matches they played football, not wwe.

I thought Spain looked decidedly average and encouraged ugly play. Played really closed in and only dominated possession because they didn't seem to know what to do with the ball. At the end of the first half the Netherlands had moved nearly the same distance despite a fraction of the possession, had won more corners, had more shots on goal, and despite the heavy fouling, they looked a much better side whenever they got the ball. Can't help but feel there was a little confusion from FIFA between "Favourite" and "Favoured." I'd be more than overjoyed for Spain to win if only they looked the part, but all this crap I keep hearing about "the beautiful game" in reference to some cocky smug prats who can't seem to handle a ball any better than a razor standing around for two hours trying to bore the opposition to death... May as well drag it out to five days and call it cricket.

As a footballing spectacle, this World Cup has largely been a serious disappointment. New Zealand-Italy, Slovakia-Italy, Germany-Argentina and Holland-Uruguay were the only really good games I can remember. Four out of sixty-four is not a good proportion.

It wasn't very interesting to watch, though. Brazil-North Korea was much better, when they actually put up an excellent fight, but against Portugal they fell to pieces and I just felt bad for them, after they'd done so well against Brazil. And it was so one-sided that it still wasn't much in the way of entertainment. The last fifteen minutes of Slovakia-Italy were the best of the whole tournament.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

I say the more red cards, the more enjoyable it is. Playing dirty should be commemorated. Exept for Ur'ah'gay, their dirt should of gotten them life in prison.

spain deserved to win the game

Those bull chasing Nazi trainers don't deserve to win a teeth brushing contest...

Thanks for fixing it, though!

Did you copy the whole URL (i.e. )? The current YouTube BBCode must be used with only the ID (i.e. 7B2LPxggvqY).
