I've gotten a new laptop. Never do have to use that piece of crap I call a comp. Anyways, on to some of the details.

Made by ASUS
64-bit Windows 7
4 GB of RAM
500 GB hard drive
Intel i5 Processor
GeForce GTS 360M with 1 GB dedicated memory.

Wow. Over 6 times the hard drive of my old comp :p

Indeed, that graphics card is very nice. How much did this cost you?

Fancy a swap? Mine's old and the W key sticks, and if I have it on my lap I think it might actually set my jeans on fire.

It was listed at $899, but after it was all said and done I got it some rebates, a mouse, a def leppard cd ( :D ) and warranty stuff it came out at little over $1000.
Only real downside is the battery life is a whole two hours. But that's definitely worth it :thumbsupdrool:

And no Vort. Sorry :p

Thanks. We'll see before I put a ton of games on it though, apparently engineering programs take up tons of space, so I'm waiting 'til I get them in.

Looked it up, it's the modernized version of mine :thumbsupdrool:. Have fun, it's a pretty good computer - the only problems I've had come from a specific Nvidia issue in the 9xxx to 2xx series of cards, so yours shouldn't have any problems.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Well done on buying an Asus laptop. At least you know it'll last.

The specs seem pretty good too, but I'm not exactly gonna be jumping up and down screaming that 7 is a great system, when it isn't.

Care to share any other details on your new laptop?
Hostile is a cunt.

Thought I'd have that here to save time.

Well how about the speeds? CPU, RAM and HDD speeds are always relevant. The screen size and resolution would be nice too.

Also, does it have any spare HDD slots? That could prove useful to you.

How many little elves does it have inside it running around pressing buttons and making things work? Have they domesticated the keyboard-lizards yet? (I don't really understand computers...)

Double post, so sue me.

I just played for my first game of TEA. On Ultra High. With no slow-down. I'm just sad Cel, adummy, and hunter aren't here to see this.

How does it feel?

I can almost do that, my graphics card is a 7300GT. Not very special. But, for bfme it does the trick. For the most part I play ultra. Only when there is particular demand do I drop it down.
