O: WD needs some help with maps, and one person alone is not enough to make them, so I will be holding a contest to pick some of the more unique and special mappers out of this crowd. If you have Yuri's Revenge and like to make maps, please submit one to the contest. Here are the rules...
1. Maps MUST be for YR
2. Maps must not have any INI modifications that would interfere with the mod
3. Detail is a big importance- it will be the second most important thing I judge. Sounds, small triggers, reinforcements, and terrain detail help a lot.
4. Fun is #1, if it is boring, it will NOT do good.
5. All participants must post that they are participating by April 5th in the main topic. All maps MUST be emailed or posted at the main topic by April 15th (earlier is ok too) or else they will be disqualified.
6. If you have any questions, email, PM, or post them in the main topic.
The winner of the contest will be determined and posted on April 20th. (Unless I am unable to post then. in that case I would post as soon as possible afterwards)
The winner will have the opportunity (but will not have to) to be the lead mapper for this mod. You will be in charge of making the terrain for single player maps and any multiplayer maps we might need. The second and third runners up will be asked to make multiplayer maps for the mod as well. The top five will also have their entered map put into the mod (so don’t enter if you don’t want it in there, but I WILL give you credit for your work) please start working on your maps and post your entree in this forum...
