i found there an old topic in the flame-section:

nobody likes mig
whizzer and merrickswd hate him so much
they hate d-day
they say d-day will die

just funny that Frontline (whizzer and merrickswd were part of it) died 2times
in those times there was great hostility especially from fl against d-day

and there was something like: mig didn´t know if he continues d-day coz he was left alone...and now? d-day will be one of the best TCs ever made for an RTS

maybe this is hell of off-topic but i don´t care =)

But if you folks want some real history... ever heard of the ww2 mod for Ra2 called "Deathmatch European Battlefield"

I still got a copy of that mod on my pc... pretty sure it's nowhere to be found on the net anymore. :o

DMEB was hostet on westwoox aswell as blitzkrieg was
i had some funny discussion with him about voxels
i have to chack my DL-CDs and take a look on it again

Wow... that's long ago. I remember that when westwoodx went down i looked for a long time to find Blitz again. I never found the DM-EB anymore :shock:

he put up a site again but i took something like 2-3 months till he gave up
then he realesed the version as it was...
maybe i find his last site too

If there is one thing that argument showed me is that don't be a jerk & listen to any complaints/suggestions, as there is a good chance they are right are your are not

I've downloaded it but it can't be pe played in skirmish .
BTW the mod has ambition to bad it was abandoned, maybe i'll put some work on it twist the voxels don't know yet .

Hated? We never hated you. We just got flamed the minute we said a word :?
But for now we've found common ground DM-EB was nice indeed.

as i took a closer look on it i realized that sly must have had the intention to make ths mod for TS
the voxels fit perfect the size of the tanks in the mixes called 1tnk...
and i think i know why russia does not work
has to do with 3 sides but only 2 MCVs
if it where made for yuri it would work
