It's been a long time since I gave a fuck about the leadership here and even longer since I was an admin, but I'm curious as to how the pyramid scheme works these days. How similar is it to when I was admin, i.e. Community Leaders, PR leaders and such?

Isn't that a little against what the current structure was initially set up for? If I remember, asides from efficiency, which from what I've experienced in the past is rather negligible, isn't it designed to stop double-dipping and stop you from taking on numerous roles?

Start getting more reliable staff, particularly someone for PR, because this place is deader than Elvis Presley's cock and I don't think anyone relishes the inevitable downward spiral which will have you carrying this whole place alone again.

You are mistaken this time. Gen. Kenobi is a very reliable person and has done a lot of work for Revora by himself. Trust me, the PR department is in good hands. Just because I'm officially still its leader doesn't mean it doesn't have capable staff.

That this place is inactive has more to do with the fact that we need a new, successful division which brings in new people as replacement for all the C&C and T3A oldbies who left. If you want to criticise something, criticise any other department than Hosting & PR (or just Bart and me).

Do you always come across as so smarmy and superficially nice, or is it a cheap PR thing to get peoples backs up?

Anyway, before we get into new ideas, I'd rather know what's currently being done in the PR section, specifically what's being done to increase Revoras active membership.

And what was so condescending about my previous post? Something about Gen.Kenobis post does seem superficially nice. Whether it is or if it's just the way he is, I don't know yet.

And I'm going to need to know what's being done before I compose a few ideas of my own to move forward and push for forum growth.

Already been there and done that Kenobi. I was the first PR leader, in fact, as well as the first active Community leader. Unfortunately, my current demeanour betrays any desire to take up the top spot at the moment.

I am, however, concerned enough about the growth of Revora enough to want to help with the situation. Let me know what's currently being done, and I'll etch out a few ideas to push the brand out a bit more.
Whether you wish to do that in this thread or behind the scenes (via PMs or MSN or whatever) is up to you.

EDIT: Not so off topic as you might think, but where's King Detail at these days?

I can give you Advisor status, which lets you access the RCC again so you can see what's going on. That would seem to be a fitting role anyway if you want to give PR advice.

EDIT: Provided that I don't see any further flaming from you in any area towards any member. Otherwise it's pretty hard to justify.

No idea about Detail, he hasn't shown up for a while. However, him and me aren't exactly compatible... so I don't miss him all that much - even though he has always had some good ideas.

No. Such a move would set a very bad precedent right now. Plus, I don't like the idea of being 'officially' involved right now. It's far better we keep things as they are.

And as much as you conflicted with King Detail, even you would have to admit he would've been the best person to lead the PR section. It's just a shame nobody would give him a real chance at it.

Also, Detail was staff again at some point. Too bad he was acting like a dick, which made real work with him impossible. But he had his shot.
