New vehicle for BEL - SdKfz 2

This is so cool! Fantastic work!  :thumbsupdrool:

Years ago, I saw that vehicle in a museum and I thought: "Hey, it would be awesome if we had that in Commandos!" I'm not making that up. So I'm really excited to see that Kettenkrad in action! :)

Thanks! It was really interesting vehicle.
I now studying 3D modeling, and this is good practice.

I never planned to work on it more. But sometimes i receive messages about Commandos VOL editor from different people. And it's too bad, that it was unfinished tool, however i used it to create all self maps, but probably nobody can use this except me.
So i did some changes in this programm and created video lessons. I hope, that now everyone will can use it to Commandos map creating, although i very doubt that it's needing for someone...
This programm with source code are available by old link:

Yes, i'm about 15 years late.
But, i think, many people (including me) hope to see continuation of your BCD mod, and SINP also...

Never too late, @dialog. It may be a small tool, but an important one! Thanks for your continued contribution bringing new stuff like that. :p

I finally managed to extract the graphics (background and masks) from the game Beyond the Law: The Third Wave

https://www.gamespot...w/1900-6094729/

A few years ago, I already tried to figure out the file format - but I failed. On a rainy weekend I gave it another try, and this time I succeeded.

That's one of the maps:

Tenacious H. Interesting, but why?

After all these years you're still asking why? :D

It's a combination of reasons.

First of all, it bothered me that I wasn't able to figure out how to extract the sprites in the first place.

Second of all, I like doing that kind of stuff - it's like solving a Sudoko to me.

Next reason: I had nothing better to do.

And finally (and that's also the reason why I posted it here) I was hoping that anyone would be interested in turning the tiles into a map for Commandos.

Yes that's more than enough reasons. So you also have the sprites for crates and fences and stuff? And info on their placements?

(Perhaps in the future forklift racing... or jousting.)

Some familiar tunes played in new ways :) I always considered Commandos soundtracks to be perfectly fitting to be arranged for a symphonic orchestra (I especailly would love to hear the Colditz theme that way), and this orchestra does deliver. The guitar-based reimaginations are also awesome

The BCD missions in Destination Paris are still based on a very old conversion of the original maps.

Right now I'm working on a higher quality conversion. What do you think, should I proceed?

Would be so good to get that kind of maps y64 ma2 and sec. I could create missions there. But I will be busy next months in a big project codename BEX
