Techmarine
Notes: A technically gifted Marine, who has undergone decades of training under the Adeptus Mechanicus. As the Raven Guard Fortress Monastery is on the moon (Deliverance) of a Forge World (Kiavahr), I'd imagine that they would do part of their training there, as well as on Mars. I would say that their speech would blend the precise and cold nature of a Techpriest and the fire and zeal of a Marine, the latter emerging in combat situations.

Servitor
Notes: Men whom have been mind wiped and lobotomized so that their flesh may serve anew. An arcane combination of man and machine, without personality or reason, sporting a wide array of mechanical modifications to better assist a techmarine in his repair and maintenance duties. Likely to have no distinct emotions, simply states monotone, matter of factually, what is wrong or happening, in a reasonable amount of detail to be helpful.

Terminator Squad Sergeant
Notes: Terminator's voices are greatly deepened by their vox's, which they almost always use thanks to their prodigious protection of even their helmets. Terminators are the final strike of the Raven Guard; when the rest of the force has been committed it is they who deliver the coup de grace. They have absolutely no fear, and have total confidence in their armour and their abilities.
Unit_Complete1: This is the Terminator sergeant here, commander.
Unit_Complete2: I have arrived personally. They say the target is especially powerful.
Unit_Complete3: You have asked for my assistance?
Unit_Complete4: I am ready for your commands.
Unit_Complete5: Commander, I have arrived.

Unit_Complete7: Serf, record when and that I have arrived.

Selection2: My squad is ready for your orders.
Selection3: The Terminators I command will ensure the objective is acheived.
Selection4: Where shall the Ravens strike?
Selection5: Where is the leader of the murderers, so that we might kill it?
Selection6: Commander, let us unleash the true vengeance of the people.
Selection7: This squad aches to avenge the people, commander.
Move1: Alright, Terminators, move out - now!
Move2: Looks like we'll be getting there on foot, commander.
Move3: That location will be ours.
Move4: Let us go and unleash the fury of the Raven Guard.

Commanders

Apothecary
Notes: Apothecaries are utterly dedicated to the preservation of life and are generally skilled in the healing of both astartes and non astartes. They are the image of the Raven Guard's care and protection for others, but instead of the people it is their own brothers that the apothecaries serve.
Unit_Complete1: Quickly, point me to the wounded.
Unit_Complete2: Show me who needs my aid.
Unit_Complete3: I am here to serve, commander.
Unit_Complete4: I have come, now where will I serve?
Unit_Complete5: The battlefield...
Unit_Complete6: My narthecium is at your command. [pronounced "nar-thes-i-um"]
Unit_Complete7: The Emperor's Peace will be needed today...
Selection1: I am busy, commander, what is it?
Selection2: I am tending wounds, be quick.
Selection3: Yes?
Selection4: Is there others who need me more?
Selection5: Are there any of the people wounded?
Selection6: Where are the worst injuries?
Selection7: In need of aid, commander?
Move1: I will heal there.
Move2: The wounded will be able to come there soon.
Move3: To the next squad...
Move4: I am finished here.
Move5: As you command...
Move6: My skills will be there.
Move7: It will be protected by better men by time I leave.
Attack1: They dared to wound our brothers! They must pay!
Attack2: Feel the death you have caused!
Attack3: I will avenge those beyond my aid!
Attack4: Strike swiftly, and avoid any casualties.
Attack5: Hit them as hard as they've hit us...
Attack6: I will enjoy dealing the pain out...
Attack7: I know their weak points.
Capture1: It will be a station of healing.
Capture2: I shall claim this for the people.
Capture3: My brothers shall be remembered on the banner I plant here...
Capped1: All shall find rest here.
Capped2: May it deny those who seek to harm the people.
Capped3: The dead are well remembered here.
Join1: Brothers, you shall suffer no longer...
Join2: Show me who needs the most aid.
Join3: Any mortal wounds?
Detach1: I can do no more here.
Detach2: There are squads who have more need.
Load_Transport1: Drive quickly! Many will die without my aid!
Load_Transport2: I am needed elsewhere, go!
Unload_Transport1: I am here, who needs my aid?
Unload_Transport2: Where are the wounded? Speak quickly!
Morale_Break1: Too many dead! Retreat!
Morale_Break2: I cannot help them all!
Morale_Break3: I am not needed fighting on the frontlines!
Morale_Restored1: I have run and my brothers have died...
Morale_Restored2: I must go back and tend to the survivors.
Morale_Restored3: I will live, but others might not.
Charge1: I will show you how to administer death!
Charge2: This is the Emperor's Mercy!
Charge3: Die, and kill no more!
Jump_Teleport1: I will move quickly to the fallen...
Jump_Teleport2: This obstacle will not block me from the wounded!
Deepstrike1: I will be there - now.
Deepstrike2: I will recover their geneseed...
Ability1: You have killed enough!
Ability2: No more shall fall by your hand!
Ability3: This is for the dead!
Ability4: I will heal you, rest now.
Ability5: Let me tend to your injuries, brothers.
Combat1: Commander, I am needed for healing, not killing.
Combat2: I cannot tend to the wounded will fighting.
Combat3: I am useless here.
Under_Fire1: I am being targeted!
Under_Fire2: I am coming under fire!
Under_Fire3: The enemy seeks to kill those who heal your men.
Damage1: I am wounded, commander.
Damage2: I must tend to my own injuries now.
Damage3: I gain my own wounds...
Death1: I... grant myself... the Emperor's... Mercy...
Death2: I... cannot fall...
Death3: But... there are more... who need me...
Death4: I will serve no longer...

Standard Bearer
Notes: Standard Bearers are slightly contradictory to the Raven Guard's favoured style of warfare. A standard is not intended to be hidden in the darkness, so generally the Raven Guard use it to signal that the final strike is ready. The bearer, then, knows patience, and is often quiet, until the time when he is needed to represent the Raven Guard and his voice becomes clear and loud enough for all to hear.
Unit_Complete1: I am here, commander.
Unit_Complete2: This standard is ready to fly.
Unit_Complete3: I am ready, is the rest of the force?
Unit_Complete4: The Raven will soon be seen.
Unit_Complete5: Which squad is most worthy?
Unit_Complete6: I will ready the Raven Guard.
Unit_Complete7: This banner is raised, and it shall not fall.
Selection1: Is it time?
Selection2: Is everything in position?
Selection3: This banner is ready for your command.
Selection4: The Raven Guard here are ready.
Selection5: I await your command.
Selection6: My brothers are ready to strike.
Selection7: The Raven is waiting for the command...
Move1: Of course...
Move2: This banner shall be there.
Move3: I will be in position shortly.
Move4: Soon...
Move5: It will be done...
Move6: The Raven shall fly soon?
Move7: I will encourage the others there.
Attack1: Forward!
Attack2: They will be crushed now!
Attack3: The Raven will remember this!
Attack4: Raven Guard! Strike now!
Attack5: End this battle!
Attack6: Leave no survivors!
Attack7: Raven Guard, destroy them all!
Capture1: A lesser banner will be planted here...
Capture2: Of course.
Capture3: It will be a staging point...
Capped1: Another banner flies here.
Capped2: It is yours now.
Capped3: This point is a staging point now.
Join1: Prepare to strike the final blow, my brothers.
Join2: Know that the Raven watches know.
Join3: Your deeds will soon be recorded here.
Detach1: Other squads have proven more worthy...
Detach2: You have failed, and I will no longer join you.
Load_Transport1: It is good, we will be in position soon...
Load_Transport2: The banner must wait a little longer...
Unload_Transport1: It is almost time.
Unload_Transport2: I am prepared, commander.
Morale_Break1: This strike has failed!
Morale_Break2: No! We must retreat!
Morale_Break3: The Raven cannot record this atrocity!
Morale_Restored1: I... I have failed...
Morale_Restored2: I am unworthy...
Morale_Restored3: I do not deserve this honored banner.
Charge1: Show them the power of the Raven Guard!
Charge2: Avenge the people, for the glory of the Raven Guard!
Charge3: Raven Guard, teach them fear!
Jump_Teleport1: The Raven is not hindered by such obstacles.
Jump_Teleport2: It flies higher...
Deepstrike1: The banner shall be planted there.
Deepstrike2: Like a true Raven, we shall strike!
Ability1: See the Raven! It means we have finally struck!
Ability2: Know the fury of the Raven Guard!
Ability3: Raven Guard! Avenge the people!
Ability4: Know that the battle will soon be over, my brothers.
Ability5: We will destroy them soon, take part of the glory!
Combat1: We are finally striking, commander!
Combat2: The combat is glorious!
Combat3: This will be recorded!
Under_Fire1: They have finally seen us!
Under_Fire2: I am drawing their fire, commander!
Under_Fire3: The Raven is being targeted!
Damage1: Commander, we are beginning to take casualties...
Damage2: Avenge your brothers!
Damage3: They have dared strike back!
Death1: The banner flies no more...
Death2: Commander... the strike... has failed...
Death3: I... Failed...
Death4: The Raven... has fallen...

Chaplain
Notes: Chaplains of the Raven Guard focus on leading by example, being masters of stealth while waiting to strike and utterly destructive when they do. They also strengthen morale and drive the surrounding Raven Guard into greater acts of courage and strength with their words.
Unit_Complete1: I am here, commander, where might I lead?
Unit_Complete2: What squad needs support?
Unit_Complete3: Show me where their weak points are, commander.
Unit_Complete4: Who is in the most need of strength?

Move7: They will not see us coming.
Attack1: Raven Guard! For the people!
Attack2: We strike now!
Attack3: Raven Guard! Earn your place!
Attack4: Leave no survivors, for they left us none!
Attack5: Make your brothers proud!
Attack6: We will tolerate them no longer!
Attack7: Show them the foolishness of provoking the Raven Guard!
Capture1: It will be yours, commander.
Capture2: Squad, take this from the enemy.
Capture3: This squad shall take it for you.
Capped1: It is now the Raven Guard's!
Capped2: Let the enemy come and try to take this back!
Capped3: It is our banner that flies now!
Join1: I shall show you how a true Raven Guard is.
Join2: Nothing will stop us!
Join3: We will strike soon, and we shall strike hard!
Detach1: You have been prepared for your duty.
Detach2: You are worthy, others are not.
Load_Transport1: Come, we shall strike soon!
Load_Transport2: Quietly, driver, but quickly.
Unload_Transport1: Prepare to strike...
Unload_Transport2: We are in position...
Morale_Break1: No! I cannot allow this!
Morale_Break2: They... they are holding!
Morale_Break3: This strike has failed! I have failed!
Morale_Restored1: Do we let losses weaken us? No! We shall avenge our dead!
Morale_Restored2: Let us prove ourselves worthy once more!
Morale_Restored3: We have failed once, let us wipe clean that failure!
Charge1: For the people!
Charge2: We shall show them mercy they showed us!
Charge3: Teach them the fear they once caused!
Jump_Teleport1: Mortal obstacles do not stop us!
Jump_Teleport2: There is nothing that can stop the Raven Guard!
Deepstrike1: Truly, they shall receive no warning...
Deepstrike2: I pity the enemy.
Ability1: I deny you!
Ability2: We have struck! You will not live to remember it!
Ability3: Taste the vengeance of the Raven Guard!
Ability4: We are Astartes! We do not fall! [pronounced "As-tar-tehs"]
Ability5: Inflict death before you let it claim you!
Combat1: Be prepared to fall back!
Combat2: We are crushing them, commander!
Combat3: WE shall not fail the commander!
Under_Fire1: They have dared target us!?!
Under_Fire2: Our position is revealed! Commander, order us to charge!
Under_Fire3: Squad! Fire back at them!
Damage1: The weak have been weeded out, commander!
Damage2: They might hold, commander.
Damage3: Enemy fire is increasing...
Death1: I... have died well...
Death2: There are... more to... kill...
Death3: Commander... Avenge me...
Death4: I shall not... let go...

Unit_Complete6: Raven Guard, mobilize.
Unit_Complete7: In the name of Corax, I lend my sword.
Selection1: The enemy may have the fire power, but what good is it if they cannot hit their target?
Selection2: Strength is worthless without speed, as speed is worthless without strength.
Selection3: There is no such thing as perfection, everyone, everything has a weakness to exploit.
Selection4: ten men who know where and when to strike, is more effective than a thousand who do not.
Selection5: Keep your blade sharp, and your mind sharper.

Death1: Is...This...it?
Death2: My fight finally ends...
Death3: I am done...
Death4: I have served for long enough...

Commander
Notes: Raven Guard commanders spend most of their time organizing the battle and directing the squads under their command. When they do come onto the field, it is to relax, to be refreshed by feeling the slaughterers die by the commander's blows. To them the battlefield is like an old friend and they seek to be a savior to the people while on it.
Unit_Complete1: It is good to be back...
Unit_Complete2: I am at your command now.
Unit_Complete3: It has been a long time, it seems...
Unit_Complete4: Another battle to be fought...
Unit_Complete5: Don't let command go to your head, acting commander.
Unit_Complete6: The people will be needing me soon.
Unit_Complete7: To prove my skill once more...
Selection1: Where are the people?
Selection2: Where am I needed, acting commander?
Selection3: Where have the enemy gathered?
Selection4: Shall I teach the enemy fear?
Selection5: Where is my experience most useful?
Selection6: I am eager for battle, acting commander.
Selection7: Tell me where I might help save the people.
Move1: Of course...
Move2: Stealthily, I... Yes, acting commander.

Detach1: You must remain here, squad.
Detach2: I fight elsewhere.
Load_Transport1: Faster is better...
Load_Transport2: No need for stealth then?
Unload_Transport1: I am close, then?
Unload_Transport2: My weapons are prepared...
Morale_Break1: Enough!
Morale_Break2: Even I cannot prevail here, acting commander!
Morale_Break3: I cannot serve the people by dieing!
Morale_Restored1: A little less of a challenge next time, acting commander...

Jump_Teleport2: Surprise, then?
Deepstrike1: Directly into battle...
Deepstrike2: No quicker way...
Ability1: This is always fun to watch...
Ability2: I pity them.
Ability3: These are the coordinates, acting commander...
Ability4: I have not failed yet, and I will not fail now!
Ability5: I have not yet commanded you to fail!
Combat1: Acting commander, this is what I am here for...
Combat2: It can wait.
Combat3: I assume you have more targets for me?
Under_Fire1: They are attempting to target me, acting commander.
Under_Fire2: They have finally seen me...
Under_Fire3: My power armour's machine spirit is... being annoyed.
Damage1: Their fire is thickening, acting commander.
Damage2: I may need an apothecary.
Damage3: I am suffering minor wounds.
Death1: What?
Death2: After all this time...
Death3: I never should have come...
Death4: The people... I had forgotten the people...

Shadow Captain Korvydae
Notes: Korvydae is an epitome of everything it means to be a Raven Guard. Noble, yet humble, quiet, yet furious when others are unnecessarily condemned to death. When he speaks, it is with quiet authority and absolute conviction that his every action is for the betterment of humanity. When they is italicized, speak it with disgust and loathing, for the shadow captain speaks of those who have dared kill innocents. Note: any text below in BOLD face speak it with disgust and loathing, for the shadow captain speaks of those who have dared kill innocents.

Morale_Restored1: We shall sacrifice everything, but we shall not sacrifice everything, for nothing.

Morale_Restored3: We live to fight another battle brothers.
Charge1: We will be gone as quickly as we came!
Charge2: Hit them hard!
Charge3: Strike and withdraw, and live to strike again.

Dreadnought
Notes: The Dreadnoughts of the Raven Guard tend to have a spark of intelligence, because being a Raven Guard and living long enough to be considered a hero requires intelligence, competence, initiative and much free will. These interred heroes have retained their ability to operate on their own, simply because they have needed to for so long during life.
Unit_Complete1: Commander, I have arrived.
Unit_Complete2: I am ready to support your force, Commander.

Venerable Dreadnought
Notes: Venerable dreadnoughts are mechanized sarcophagus for wounded veterans. He speaks with a subtle winding of gears in the background and a slight distortion from weathered microphones. As a Raven Guard, he is overcome by humility and malice from past grievances.

Vindicator
Notes: Though the Raven Guard prefer to use speed and stealth, they do not hesitate in using full force if it is deemed necessary. It is in such circumstances that the mighty Vindicator tanks are called into action, with their demolisher cannons bringing the might of the Raven Guard and Imperium to bear, spelling death for all who stand in their way.

Whirlwind
Notes: Whirlwinds play the artillery role for the Raven Guard’s army. They whittle down the adversary’s morale and strength to make the ground troops’ jobs easier. Their voices are faint and dry, but still have a stern quality to them. As with most Raven Guard vehicles, a slight distortion from weathered microphones is heard at the beginning and end of phrases.
Unit_Complete1: The despoiler of glorious anthems and hopeful dreams is here.
Unit_Complete2: Today’s forecast… grim and dark.
Unit_Complete3: We are the cold that brings tranquility to the land.

Predator
Notes: If you're a Raven Guard, and you're driving a predator, you only attack when you're doing a drive-by or the final push. Their voices reflect that, quiet and like the normal Raven Guard when they are simply moving or not in action, but when they are attacking they are tense, yet focused, focused on destroying their target or wreaking as much havoc before they leave.
Unit_Complete1: Predator has arrived.
Unit_Complete2: Armoured support here.
Unit_Complete3: This is the anti-infantry support, at your disposal.

Land Raider
Notes: Land Raiders are relics of the Raven Guard army. As such, they only partake in the most serious battles. Each phrase starts and ends in a slight distortion from a weathered microphone. They are unemotional and loathsome which gives them a disdainful tone.
Unit_Complete1: We bring gifts of war, famine, and death.
Unit_Complete2: The engines of war awake once more.
Unit_Complete3: Deliverance bore us, and humility fuels us.
Unit_Complete4: We shelter only the most vital components.
Unit_Complete5: Let hymns of somberness welcome us.
Unit_Complete6: We carry the burdened roles of both a sanctuary and a tomb.
Unit_Complete7: A relic amongst the Raven Guard, Land Raider has arrived.
Selection1: Death isn’t a purpose; it is a passion.
Selection2: What needs to be transferred?
Selection3: We have an affinity to death.
Selection4: Futility is an aptitude for failure.
Selection5: Are cargo is precious.
Selection6: We are impenetrable.
Selection7: Instructions?
Move1: It is so.

Take your time of these and submit each unit as it comes.

Other things to keep in mind..

1) Keep each line to a max of, say, 40 words. No need for run-on sentences.
2) Single worded lines like "Acknowledged" or "Yes" are ok here and there but please use infrequently.
3) When spelling I word that is VERY hard to say verbally please try to break the word down so the voice actor who may not know War40k fluff/codecs can say it. There are factions in War40k that have names that are bizarre so the voice actor will need to understand the word and how to deliver it. ie. Macragge [pronounced "Mac - raaj"]
4) No need to put the scripts in quotes "".

Also to clarify the above:

Capture = when the squad or unit is commanded to go to a Strategic/Criticial/Relic point to commence the capture of it.
Capped = when the squad or unit has successfully captured such a point.
Charge = when the squad or unit issues a mighty battlecry before heading into combat so as to inspire fellow troops/allies and demoralize the enemy.
Combat = when the squad or unit is directly right in the fray/center of the battle and ushers a comment about the situation basically taunting the enemy.
Under_Fire = when the squad or unit finds itself being attacked by the enemy but taking real minor damage.
Damage = when the squad or unit is being hurt light to moderately by the enemy (for a squad, this is before morale is broken).

If you have ANY questions about anything above fire away..

ie. Unless you are familiar with the Dawn of War game mechanic re: capturing and capping map points such points giving extra income and strategic supremacy to the player when a squad or individual unit commences capturing the point then finishing the capture. Such voice scripts are meant for this part.

<b>ABILITIES</b>
Always assume a unit/squad's abilities will be of two kinds:

1) provide a voice script of what a unit would say when using a targeted ability to damage enemy units
2) provide a voice script of what a unit would say when using a self-use ability to protect self or nearby fellow/allied units

ie. even if the Commissar could, say, call an Orbital Strike that targets a local area on the battlefield which hurts all enemies near to the affected zone a generic Commissar script could say: "Perish you unworthy filth!" The key is to be somewhat generic with both those ability types mentioned above. This will cover many possibilities.

Since, RG operations rely on scouts, I suppose, Land Speeder Storm should be added to script-list.

Also, to support cover-operations, they need the Damocles with lots of "abilities" (and scripts for them)

You could theroetically use the Ultramarines scripts for both the Storm and the Damocles but I have to ask: whose making a Raven Guard SM faction mod? I know all the SM chapters are included in DoC but something seperate? WOW..

Still.. yes we can get both Raven Guard Landspeeder Storm and Damocles scripted but need an idea what all these abilities you ask about? ;)

Engagement against Pretorians scripts looks a bit short to me in compare to others.
I suggest these two lines:

Medals and titles will not prove worthy against us.
It is time to clean the aristocratic filth from this region.

I meant these lines may be changed, but nevermind:

Praetorians
Aristocratic filth!
They know nothing but pride.

Changed completely or added to? :) Remember, those who write about the specific chapter, faction, regiment, etc really know their stuff.

I would sooner add yours on-top of the one existing so we have more to play with..

Praetorians
Aristocratic filth!
They know nothing but pride.
Medals and titles will not prove worthy against us.
It is time to clean the aristocratic filth from this region.

Btw, the above list is NO WHERE REMOTELY the final list for Raven Guard.. it is HERE!. This area was simply for a work-in-progress section.

Further, ALL completed War40k voice scripts and their overall progress through the workflow can be found HERE! :D

Sorry about the wrong post, then. When I see the new posts, I assumed, this is not finalized yet. I looked at the final subjects' Pretorians scripts, and they are really good actually. Thx for informing me.

Oh and we're getting Corax the Primarch voiced also. :trickydick: Yes Primarchs can basically take down hundreds of Space Marines at once but oh well... :evgr:

Will Corax be a relic-unit or something?

Thats a TBD (To Be Determined).. All SM and CSM Primarchs (alive, dead, or missing) are currently being voiced.

That may be a problem, there definitely is a trade-off between staying true to fluff, and balancing the game play.

Ordering a Primarch, even deleting his with just one button, hearing his last words... That will be definitely satisfying :) (I am a Chaos-fan, you see)

Will these new Space Marine chapters be balanced against vanilla races? Or will gameplay change, too?

Balanced against other vanilla factions BUT the addition of Primarchs will likely be something more for campaigns. There is no chance in hell a single enemy faction of any kind in the vanilla game could remote take down, say, Thousand Sons Magnus the Red/Daemon Prince or Leman Russ himself. A whole vanilla faction at its mightiest in Tier3-4 would likely equal to power of a single Primarch. :)

Yeah some of the CSM Primarchs are superb.. although we're trying to coax Perturabo out from his Massive Fortress World in the Warp. :evgr:
