How do elves grow?

Just a question i kinda always wondered, how do elves grow? Because their suppose to be like never aging right? but then how do you age from youth? better yet do female elves ever run out of eggs? I dunno just some questions that i always had

They might age slowly, but they will never appear "old". I'm sure they start out like human
kids and grow to be an adult somewhat quickly, but then they pretty much stop growing
and live on, all invicible and stuff...

Well...not invincible since they can be killed, but i'm sure you know what I mean. :thumbsupsmiley:

As far as I know, elves are as immortal as the earth itself, that is, they age along with the world, and like the world will eventually die and be reborn, after the Dagor Dagorath.

There's an article about Tolkiens elves in Wikipedia in which those questions are answered pretty accurate. As I remember it, elves are born as babies (duh) and grow until the age of about 100 years. After that they simply stop aging. So their childhood is much longer then ours. ^^

They seem to be stopping themselves from doing that. They don't generally have a lot of children.
