Its relatively easier to make infantry SHPs though...

it would be 1 hell of a clever VXL and a complicated HVA you included in there. fire anims could be done using the barrel recoil fireing. it would be more like a mech than an infantry really.

There is a slight problem: it doesnt look organic. Remember the shading SHPs have cannot be better in a voxel. As a result, voxl infantry would look blocky, or too detailed to be correctly enlightened.

Neither, its just legoish. .Synthetic and metallic effect can also be gotten better with SHPs.
Actually, everything looks better as SHPs. They problem is that units then cant rock or tilt.

arg has created some of the greatest VXLs around, he knows what he's talking about. you missed doesn't turn right too arg, SHPs have only 8 facing and turn suddenly, where a VXL turns gradually and smoothly, in about 32 facings i tihnk they used

Although it sounds corny, competitions are not just about winning
It is a good excuse to make a good one-off voxel that others can use and enjoy. The competition helps to advertise the efforts of those who enter.

A gold medal is a wonderfull thing to have, but If you'r not enough without it, You'll never be enough with it.
Basicly thats just saying enter to take part, not to win, don't get greedy.
