the 3gb-sata ports were apparently vulnerable and would degrade over time, but the 2-3 6gbit ports were working, so if you had a MB you could use it until you got a replacement. but eh. My firm is still not officially registered in the Vat-lists, and the projects I'm working on these days are moderate in the computing processes, so we'll see what happens. Maybe I should buy a proper camera for £2-3000 instead and see if i can find some freelance video-work on the side

As I hope the repaired motherboards for sandy bridge start popping up soon, I'm beginning to order the parts that I know I need and want.
Right now I got these things in mah shopping cart(if someone has an English webshop one can use to show off the stats, please do tell):
- Cabinet: Corsair Graphite 600T ($180+vat)*
- Power: Corsair HX 750W PSU ($170+vat)
- Possible SSD's:
- Crucial RealSSD C300 2,5" 64GB ($140+vat) : 355 MBps (read) / 70 MBps (write)
- Corsair SSD Force Series™ F120, 120GB ($230+vat) : 285 MBps (read) / 275 MBps (Write)
Lolwhut, There's really no doubt that I'll go for the c300, But I'm a bit skeptical that 64GB will be enough when I got Maya and PS and other progs to work with. might as well go for the 128GB version of the c300 then.
The cabinet looked pretty neat in the presentation video. It's not a beauty, but it looks very easy to get into and work with, and those big fans look pretty quiet.
*=Direct translation of Norwegian prices more or less, and vat(25%) does not matter since I'm vat-registered and have plenty of vat to pay off with from different jobs.
Should be all right now. If anyone sees anything that makes them go "nooououoooo" they better give me a holler quite quickly

Hrm, they are not sold in my business-oriented webshop, so I wonder if it will be more paperwork than its worth to buy one. The corsair SSD has Sandforce 1200 though, is there really a big difference between 1200 an 1500?
