I wouldn't like being immediate neighbors of my enemies, so that when they build one catapult, it can destroy my walls without having to come out of their camp (exaggerated, I know, but you get the point.)
Perhaps this would be better as a two, maybe three player map?
please take note that, until further notice, I don't care, so get lost.

I think its good although I want to see some texturing and scenery keep it up!
Lol - Im notorious for showing maps at all stages of developement. I like the feedback at each stage because people can often think of something I didnt and I can revise without gutting the map.
You might want to increase the size?

At this point the map is 600 x600. so going bigger isnt possible, however depending on how the map progresses I may or may not keep it at 5 players. Its something Ill consider once it gets completed and beta tested.
Cool! If you're going to add shrubbery and trees; only add a few, since Tolfalas is a desolate rocky island off of Belfalas. You can refer to the Encyclopedia of Arda or the Lotr Tolkien Wiki.
Thx.
Thanks for the tip - I always enjoy getting good information on terrain, features etc of any place im trying to create. So keep em coming.

Well in SEE your enemies wont go spam you immediatly so I believe how close they are to each other isnt a problem. You could also add lil islands around the big one.
Its true that SEE has really long build times, it would be unlikely that someone could raid you rather quickly using a catapult. Though thats why we -test ,test ,test.
Hmm little islands, maybe just few looking like rock justting out of the water - could be cool.

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.
I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

Making Tolfalas was one of my favourites - just simple, natural and detailed.

As to your question - there is no recorded habitation of the island of Tolfalas, but I don't think that people wouldn't have lived there if they'd had the chance. Sitting at the mouth of the Anduin would make it very fertile and easy to farm and fish from all of the sediment dumped off there by the river. Some nice little fishing villages would be fine.

This might be a bit too big of a fishing village
