Hey David, long time no see. I figured I'd wait till the forums were up for a few days before hitting you up on this idea. I purchased The3rdAge.net domain name.
ArgCmd is doing the site layout and we will want to have this site hosted here when the server move is finished. The purpose of the site is a BFME editing site. Not unlike GenDev.
We want the site to be THE premiere BFME site on this network. It is not a mod or a TC. Just a place where we can learn and write tutorials for editing BFME.
I understand that another EA game is coming out named The Third Age. But it was hard to find a good and fitting domain name. So we are going with this one.
I also understand that you have alot going on with the site and all, but I would like you to be a direct contributer to the site. I hope you decide to help us. We would need some help on the forum skin once we have a color scheme and webart and such.
Also let me know when it's time to contribute again. I assume you are gonna have some setup fees perhaps, if you let me know what you are up against, I'll let you know what I can donate.
It may also help if we add each other on MSN, I'm email@example.com. ~Eric
I dug this up from the archives...

Back in 04... I had done some primitive "modding" in AoE2. Just custom maps and triggers, some of which affected the data values for units. So it counts.

I've been watching your skinning abilities get better and better, and you're showing real promise. To that end, if you want any tips or crits from me, or just to chat, and you have MSN, drop me a line at *********@hotmail.com.
And the rest, as they say, is history.

Glad to know someone appreciates my insanity.
I mean c'mon man, Rob's made a bit more of an impact in the modding community than you have.
