Welcome to the third version of The Elven Alliance: Community Edition! :p

Posted Image

The mod has been uploaded to the following locations for download:
LotR FileFront
Moddb

Version 1.2 contains the highly anticipated Elven AI! Every skirmish map now can utilize the Elven AI for fun and exciting battles! In addition, the hard level AI difficulty has become increasingly more challenging. If that was not enough, fourteen new skirmish maps have been added (credit: _Haldir_) and seven EA campaign maps have also been added. Also, custom voice files for Glorfindel, Celeglin, and Sentinels from Woody End have been added to the mod (credit: _Haldir_, Valaquenta10, and {AE}Manveru). Finally, besides more balance changes and bug fixes, this mod version comes with a fully functional installer (credit: Nertea).

A few things to note:
  • You do NOT need the first version (1.0) or second version (1.1) of TEA:CE installed to play this mod.
  • The .zip download package contains a folder called "information documents". This folder contains the following: (1) complete changelist for each version, (2) readme document containing terms of usage and credits, (3) installation instructions if the installer does not work, (4) and the TEA:CE icon image.
  • PLEASE read through the readme file contained in the "information documents" folder.
  • If you have any questions about installation or have problems running the mod, please use this topic in our forums.
  • You can view the official Elven Alliance forums here.
  • Vote for this mod here.
  • Join the official Elven Alliance Community Edition online game section here.
  • View our Moddb page here.
  • View the complete change list here.
DISCLAIMER: If Celeglin does return and does not approve of the community edition project, the project will stop immediately and the download will be removed. Also, the original version of Celeglin's mod will still be available to download. It can be found here.

Do you have the english version of the game?

(shouldn't have anything to do with it, but doesn't hurt to ask)

Otherwise, I'd suggest a reinstall of the game and mod.

That is very odd. When installing, choose your desktop as the location and see if anything shows up. IF so, you can then manually move the files to wherever you want them.

I don't that that would matter, I wrote the base code for the installer and it works for Windows 7 just fine.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

When trying to download from Filefront, it'll get me to the download page, but no matter how many times I tell it to download the file, it won't dowload. Moddb works, though...
Wait... what?

Works for me. FileFront may have been down when you were trying to download.

Quick question and I'm sorry if it sounds dumb (kinda new to mods): Are you allowed to have more than one mod installed for the same game at the same time? I currently have the Lone Wolf Mod, and I'm kind of wanting to download this mod as well.

Yes. As long as the mod files is not placed in the program file folder of the game, you can have multiple mods installed. All hosted mods on T3A do not hinder with the program files so you should be good to go. Generally speaking, mod files (usually in .big files) are placed in the 'My Battle for Middle Earth' folder, and the mod can be played through a shortcut on the desktop.
