Oh yeah, I was going to mention that.

 

It's because for 1.06 we made the 'hidden heroes' functional for mappers (experience levels etc). This conflicts with TEA's Elrond.

You could just change the TEA Elrond to be a 'new' hero instead of using the EA name 'ElvenElrond'

 

That way its changes wont conflict with the vanilla version in 1.06.

By the way, the mod crashes when used with patch 1.06. Something about duplicate Elrond experience levels or similar. Would be great if that was fixed so I don't have to remove the 1.06 file just to play TEA.

I have that error too.

If I do this, I will have to make sure the AI and campaign is adjusted as well for the new unit.

Please check the first post on this topic for the current change list for version 1.3.  I fixed the Elrond error so the mod now runs on patch 1.06.  It appears that for the most part, this mod is done.  I do need five button images for the camera system.  They are general (normal BFME view), Commander's View (more increased angle), unit's view (even more increased angle), ground view (camera angle is at ground level), and aerial view (more upward view farther away).  Is anyone interested on testing the AI and campaign additions?  Also, did anyone have any issues with the automatic installer for version 1.2.  Nertea was kind enough to give me his code he used for TDH so the installer should have been good.

Perhaps you could make some similar icons to his? Take some screenshots of Helm's deep at the different angles. =D
