How long, generally, does it take before an applicant receives a response as to whether or not they will be hosted?

Well it's been a few days, so, without trying to sound too daft, what on earth would make my application controversial?
I'm using all my own work.
I'm an established mod.
I have a lot of interest generated.
I've been completely absent from the community for several years so I'm no troublemaker.

Oh and Phill forgot to mention that the CnC Guild Leader - NIghthawk, - responsible to handle these applications is sick, so it takes more time
