Hey, update time!

I mentioned in the last update that we were working on replacing the duplicate powers across the factions. Well, this update will showcase some of the replacements made in the Mordor spellbook. Industry and Devastation are both going to be replaced and become Isengard uniques. Here's what were replacing them with:

Slave-Fields of Nurn

Replacing Industry, Slave-Fields of Nurn causes all of your unit production buildings (for example Orc Pits) to produce resources. The amount collected is however small, and does not increase with the level of the building. Still, it will provide a strong boost to a Mordor economy.

Sorcery of Dol Guldur

Adding to Sauron's arsenal of powerful units is the Castellan of Dol Guldur, a monstrous suit of armour animated by dark sorceries and set to watch over the lands of the Dark Lord. Sorcery of Dol Guldur summons a single Castellan, immediately terrifying nearby units and providing the player with a slow but potent melee unit. Castellans possess the Unwavering Vigilance ability that allows them to passively detect hidden units and the Cursed Steel power which reduces damage from non-hero attacks greatly for a short period.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

That looks awesome. One question: I see that the Balrog is no longer in Mordor's spellbook. Has the Balrog/Armoy of the Dead been removed altogether or is Mordor the only faction getting a different final-tier power?

Why do you think that this is Mordor Spellbook, Part I? :p

Kudos on noticing that, I put that particular screenshot up to see if anyone would comment on it. You'll find out... next weekend!

That final tier power looks like it has something to do with... Barad-dur?

Those other two are pretty awesome.

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

yes, that is because this version is not released yet. In other words, this spellbook is unavailable at this point.

I thought you'd eventually include the Castellans.
Nice idea with the Nurn spell.
Looks pretty good.
