1. MIRC

Install your mIRC client, then run it. Ignore registering, just continue.

Ok, once there are no more windows to apply, you have to select server. Our server is Rizon network.

Under the File -> Select Server..., you have to search for Rizon, and select Random server.

You have to write your unregistered (for now) nickname, and alternative (with AFK, for example). Once it's ready, click connect.

When you see an information like this, it means you are connected to the Rizon network. Then, you can join the channel by writing following command
/join #menthosogma

2. Registering

Now you have to register your nickserv (protected nickname), it's your protection against scammers on rizon channels. Remember, you are registering your current nickname !
/msg nickserv register password valid@email.address - don't touch anything except password and e-mail address.

When the mail with confirmation code is sent, you have 24h to confirm the registration. Just copy the command from the letter, and click enter.
/msg nickserv confirm code

Now, you have to disconnect and check - is your nickserv accepted and ready to use. Once you try to log in with your nickname, you will get smth like

Then, just copy the command and enter your password. If everything is ok, you will get a message.


3. Other

For lazy dummies and pros
1. Autologin to your nickserv + autojoin to the channel, just after connection with server
Go to the Tools -> Options and there search for the Perform button.

Select Rizon for the servers list, check "Enable perform on connect" and just copy this to the window.

/msg NickServ IDENTIFY yourpassword
/join #menthosogma wkurwejebane

Thanks to this, you will be already registered and joined to the channel, just after connection with Rizon.

2. Highlights - yes, when you don't care what's going on the channel, you should be highlighted. Tools -> Address Book, and there search for the highlights.

Thanks to this, you will get a notification by "blip" in few miliseconds.

3. Customise your mIRC
I think, there is nothing to write here, just screenies ;-)

If you want to change colours of everything except nicknames, you have to select the icon with pencils, next to the icon with clock.

4. Useful commands
- /nick yournewnickname
- /slap someone
- /join #nameofthechannel
- /query someone

If someone wants to get to our IRC channel through web browser, you can follow this link.

Since we're using password atm, once you get to the channel and receive "Bad key for #menthosogma" message, just type:

/join #menthosogma wkurwejebane

When channel goes public, you will easily be able to enter the channel via this link.

Seen and liked the Facebook announcement. I guess I'll fire up 2.0 Psi someday to not even spoil things accidentally.

TBH, I think it'll be as silent as usual RenProj IRC, when DCoder doesn't watch a series and AG is offline.
