So a friend of mine heard about me building my PC, and he wants me to build him one now. Money is less of an objective, but he doesn't want to go extreme. So I'm looking for a slight bit higher then my PC was.

Anyways I've compiled a list of parts with both a cheap and expensive option. I would like opinions on the list. The parts that differ from making it cheap to expensive are both compatible exactly the same as far as I am aware, so that shouldn't be an issue.)

PS: I'm using what I learned from what Beowulf suggested to plan this build. Thanks for that help by the way!

Get the Corsair HX 650W instead. I've just checked Newegg and it's the same price as the PSU you were looking at.
Hostile is a cunt.

Thought I'd have that here to save time.

I'd go with a mix of expensive and cheap. That will give a good bang for the buck. It wouldn't be exorbitant or anything. In fact, I would say rock the cheap build with the 460 instead.

The only thing I would suggest changing is the CPU cooler - use the Prolimatech Armageddon. You can't get them off Newegg, but you can off of Frozen CPU.

The only issue I have with that cooler is it's size. It's huge! At least on my Motherboard it's too big and as you know makes my 1st PCI Express slot useless.

It's one of the smallest coolers you can get, short of a low profile cooler. The one I have right now makes the Armageddon look tiny.

Considering most are much larger, yes.
