You'd get that in any case. The best you can hope for is that there is progress in a positive direction, 20-30 years ago greece and spain were dictatorships aswell, and we see the economy today that its still not 100% pure

... Ethnic cleansing?

The al-Qaeda rebels who are now in power in Libya are killing black Africans because of the anti-black, racist hatred for black Africans by Arab Muslims. In Arabic, the word for ' black' and 'slave' is the same word (abd, plural abid):

Why do the well-oiled propaganda machine of the Western mainstream media refuse to tell this and other like stories?

I'd call it an ethnic cleansing if it starts getting into the tens of thousands and systematic. Compared to other revolutions through the times these people are saints. I'm more worried about the piles of weapons and hi-tech stinger missiles lying around. Those things can cause grief for decades.

I find it fascinating that Gaddafi was probably the richest man in the world with $200billion hidden abroad, where today's official nr1 has $60billion. See how much that helped him. One thing is for sure, and that is that there will be little problem with the economy in Libya if they manage to keep corruption down.

The end of the revolution, and the beginning of the battle for Libya? In Islamic context a black flag is the flag of Jihad.

I believe that the foundation of Al-Qaeda in Libya crumbled with the regime. They might run around and make noise for a while, but the discontent they used as recruitment have been washed away.

People will be more interested in enjoying their new lives than joining a suicide-bomber cult right now. I even believe that those already recruited are more likely to change into something more fitting to the new environment, for good or bad.

I was a bit worried the day there was some news that the interim government said they've found nuclear devices in Libya, but I have not heard more of it, so either was covered up or another embarrassing panic report that didn't prove to be true.
