Today, Stucuk has released 1 new tool and updated another. The update is the version 2.1 of Voxel Section Editor II that now comes with a new 3d view made with Open GL. It's a faster 3d view and you can get a better look of how the unit will look like in game.
The other new tool is Stu's Mod Manager 4.0. After doing 3 mod managers, he made this one from scratch and it only supports TS, but it makes mods a lot easier to install and uninstall without requiring specific format for the files. Just make sure that the mod is in a zip file and it installs it for you in a very reliable way, logging all actions. It also provides cool icons for the mods and a good looking launcher.
Download and Support for these tools are available at Project Perfect Mod and CnC Editing Tools forum respectivelly.
Also, BS SHP Builder has gained an entirelly new section at PPM forums with forums for suggestions, bug reporting, support and tutorials. You can visit it here

Banshee, did I ever give you the suggestion for the SHP editor of having 'presets' included? (Eg, it has all 8 facings for the beret, as well as other sections of SHPs that people might need, stuff like lights, flags, emblems, etc...)?
Would make things a lot easier (since you can't C&P into the SHP builder AFAIK)

VXLSE 2.1 works for TS, FS, RA2 and YR.
Stu's Mod Manager is only for TS and FS.
As for CJ's reply, preset for what? New files? I actually started a research on that, but left it away... I can continue it later.
Doing Lights with BS SHP Builder:
You need to use the 16 first colours of the palette or the 16 last colours (as long as it's not colour #0, #1, neither #255. Create a light point in the place you want as the center of the light. Then, add a yellow to the points aat the top, botton, left and right of that point and finally fill the diagonal points with an orange and you might get a cool effect.
Flags:
Use copy and paste. It's available in BS SHP Builder 2.x although it doesnt work in the way that many people wished... It will be improved in future versions
Emblems:
- what's that? (my english vocabulary and my dictionary doesnt cover it).
I can add these ideas later, but the current 3.0 is already closed, since we need to release it asap, otherwise we wont stop working on it and people wont see a single new version online .
