What's your favourite RA2 unit (can include units from Yuri's revenge or Mental Omega)? It doesn't have to be the best unit, just one you really love for one reason or another.

For me personally its the Allied Aegis Cruiser, the sight of harriers crashing down as they're shot down by the Aegis Cruiser's multiple missiles is just amazing.

Although its kinda weird how they fire more missiles if you specifically tell it to attack a target. The elite ones actually fire 6-8 missiles at a time when you do that but if you just leave it there for it to attack anything that comes by it only fires one or two missiles :S

Anyways, feel free to share your own favourite unit

No charge for extra power! Maxximum power... yeah, those are why I like the Tesla Tank. I am happy that it got buffed in MO. Those lines are just too awesome for a cannon-fodder.

Personally... I... don´t have a favorite. I like many units... From the G.I., Apocalypse Tanks on even the Aegis Cruiser... SO MANY UNITZ ARE COOL!1!!

Most Allied/Soviet infantry units, Mirage Tanks, IFV's, Tesla Tanks, Tank Destroyers.
I dunno which to choose tho.

I prefer the Battle Fortress with 1 Sniper, 3 GGI's and 1 Chrono Legionnaire in it
Sniper kills inf, GGI's kill incoming tanks while CL erases buildings

Remember such Battle Fortress costs $5600, which is quite a lot for an unit which is relatively vulnerable.

Yet they can be unstoppable if well used and my favorite unit voice on YR. Hell, they are really memorable and badass.

That Battle Fortress combination has only one weakness... if there's more Yuri Clones than the Sniper could handle. I personally favor 1 SEAL, 2 CLEG, 2 GGI - combo. (Mods with a 6th slot adds another mid-tier inf)

I am sure those of you who says this combo sucks never met 4 BFs in a team like this. Especially if you're an American and you fill up BFs with your Paradrops. Hehe.

I wouldn't say they're unstoppable, but those Battle Fortresses are certainly powerful and do give local superiority. However, only local superiority is not enough to win the battle and those Battle Fortresses are VERY expensive... 5600, and that other combo costs even more (6800). Four of them? Really, I can build a LOT of stuff for those bucks.

Like, 10 Chrono Legionnaire IFV's?
12 Migs + Airfields and having some leftover bucks for something else?

I always struggled against soviet tanks in RA2, but then this unit was added, and imo it was the most overpowered unit of all. Good against infantry if undeployed, and good against tanks and planes when deployed. Combined with the british Sniper they were just unstoppable. In MO they have lost their machine gun and a lot of her range, but they are still cool.

In MO my favorite unit is the IFVs, their flexibility and fire-on-the-move ability makes them often a stable unit in most of my armies.

A long time ago I also loved Battle Fortresses, but nowadays I only build few of them. I don't really get why players mix different infantry into one BF to make an allround unit; such an unit may be strong, but they are not cost-efficiency. I always got far better results with BFs with 5 GGIs supported by Sniper IFVs, standard IFVs, and some Prism Tanks.
