Hey guys. There's been a lot of talk for updates, promotional images (and videos), and even a BETA build - but that can't happen unless The Peloponnesian Wars can get some dedicated, consistently-active team members proficient in the area of coding. The guys we currently have on the team (while great coders in their own right) are very busy in their personal lives and haven't been able to contribute the time necessary to getting this show on the road.

There's two jobs needed immediately for any hopeful coders - the fixing of all current bugs in the ALPHA build, and after that, the adding of all remaining objects and assets to that build.

I would love to help out, but my interest in coding (and consequently, modding) has gone down considerably and I've forgotten much that I knew. How hard would you say the coding work is (skill-wise, ie easy, intermediate, hard, etc.)?

It also includes dealing with AI? If so, I'm afraid I can be of no use. I never took the time to learn anything about it.

AI can wait, what we're really focusing on is bug hunting and getting as much content ingame for the Sparta faction as possible.

What you've gathered is the basis of the AI, which isn't hard.

There is a reason why there hasn't been further work done on the AI :p

Yeah, the AI functions, but it's quite primitive and not very... satisfying to beat. :p
