So, installed (with a couple of troubles - had to repair it) my Windows XP 32 bit on my laptop after my HDD died.7

I remembered I had to install my sound driver - reason why I installed SP2.
I remembered I had other drivers and installed them as well.

Everything went fine (except Network Connections lagging like HELL.) until I tried to install OpenRA.

On the forum I was told that to install OpenRA I need to:

-Install previous releases of NET framework
-Had to get a different Intel driver, which should work with OpenGL.

I already had a driver - Intel HD Graphics. What's the problem?

So, I went searching. Sadly, Intel's website isn't quite user-friendly, and I couldn't find ANYTHING at all to make NET framework work.

As well, Yahoo Messenger and other applications can't be installed since, well, NET framework is not installed. What the fuck?
They all give me error messages.

However, funnily enough, some applications such as WinRAR, 7zip, CCleaner, Google Chrome, and a couple others do work.

Oh, and I did install NET framework 3.5,3.0,2.0, each with its specific Service Packs to the latest version.

I dunno, any suggestions?...

Also, I installed Avira Antivirus, yet somehow there's Windows' notification which says constantly that there's no Antivirus/firewall installed. Any way to fix this as well?
