What do you think is best about each general?

AirF:
He's ultra mobile. Planes can attack anywhere on the map in seconds. He also has a fun tech tree that makes the player choose his preferred style and rewards him accordingly.

SupW:
excellent defenses and easy access to good superweapons and powers. Makes an excellent turtle.

Robot:
He's two generals in 1. At the beginning of the match and you have two completely different armies to chose from. "Macro" units give you brute strength units and a rock solid offensive line. "Micro" gives you swarming units and some really sneaky tricks. Your enemy doesn't know what you'll play until they see your forces.

Laser:
The most adaptable general. In the public release he can choose between tech trees, but in the version I'm working on now he can choose 4 techs out of 8, and some of those even have tech tree splits of their own. There's over 200 different tech combinations you can make in a single match.

Infantry:
He has unrivaled swarming capacity. He can make so many troops you can't find the space in between them. He also has a small tech tree, mid game you can choose 1 of 3 techs to specialize in. These change your super weapon and can have a serious impact on how you play the late game.

Tank:
He has one of the best assault forces and was the first general I ever specialized into tech trees. His lightning units are a lot of fun and are one of my code achievements I'm most proud of.

Nuke:
He has an excellently well rounded force with great tanks and artillery.

Flame:
His flame weapon excel at killing infantry and clearing out other light swarming units. He's pretty well rounded and has some devastating weapons.


Assault:
His tech tree is unique, focused on upgrading one super weapon through 3 stages. He has excellent tanks and artillery, as well as some decent aircraft. Of the GLA factions he is the most "stand up and fight" styled.

Chem:
He has a major tech tree split in the early game that completely changes his late game play style. The tech trees change all of his units and powers making him very flexible.

Stealth:
While lacking in strong units, he has by far the easiest access to "nasty tricks". He can buy generals powers at his black market and the monument provides a stead stream of random attacks that can quickly wear down any player.

Demo:
He has a strong defense line and some very high damage units. His forces tend to be a bit frail, but he can hold his own. He also has some very powerful superweapons and powers.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.
