hi , i recently tryed to start some modelling and editing but im nots sure about something its quite hard to explain so ill just show you.
say i have a skin such as "eulorienwarrior.dds" and i choose to add this to this code-

Object ElvenLorienWarrior

SelectPortrait = UPElven_LorienWarrior

Draw = W3DScriptedModelDraw ModuleTag_01
DefaultModelConditionState
;Give it a model so it'll show up in WB
Model = EULorWar_SKN <-------- add eulorienwarrior.dds to here
End

ModelConditionState = WORLD_BUILDER
Model = EULorWar_SKN <-------- and add it here
End

End

how come the unit turns up as invisible in them game ????? thanks for reading

the game read .tga files not .dds and this isnt modeling this is skinning. because models arent .dds, also if its a newer skin just add a random texture to replace the old one

RandomTexture = NewSkin 0 OldSkin

put it above the DefaultModelConditionState

Replace new skin with your new skin name and same with oldskin but putting old skin name there. also your new skin should be called something like: eulorienwarrior_new.tga and remember to make the asset.dat

you put it your mod folder. like there is Mod->Data->InI

put it in mod so its next to data.. Also remember to have your art folder in there.

are you working off someone elses mod? or did you create your own? because if there is already an asset.dat then its something like that...
