Well, I'm about a month away from doing as much as I can with the INI coding and need to move on to WB and 3ds Max. I've been unable to get a direct answer from Autodesk on whether or not 2012 will support importing/exporting of .w3d files, so I'm assuming it still can't.

  • Does anyone know where I can get Max 7 (or 6 if it too can be used for .w3d)--I've already searched extensively online...including eBay.

Max 7 and Max 8 are the two that work with BFME plugins.

As to where to find them, Extensive google searching may yield you results, otherwise you may have to get it from someone who already has it.

It is a link that I had to save because it is very hard to find using a normal search.

Do what you have too to preserve it, we cannot assume that it will be around forever (although it has been a round a long time).
