Yes, we're all nerds. Yes, we're all largely of an age at which we can appreciate the wonderful creation that is Pokémon while simultaneously criticising it for being wholly unrealistic in virtually every single aspect. But now! There is an alternative, in this form of this! That is to say, a text-based role-playing game set in a world in which it's all real, and in which pokemon will bite your face off if you're not careful. It hasn't started yet, or even been confirmed as happening yet, but hopefully it will be as soon as sufficient interest is declared. Mike, friend to all men of this realm, and I, sometime passer-by in this realm, are already on board, so there you go. Celebrity endorsements, or near as dammit. Anyway:

Well, if you do join you're going to have to remember that smilies are not permitted for in-character writing. And yeah, I loved pokemon when I was a kid. Then I started playing it again when I was an adult, and it was just as much fun. So yeah. Pokemon rules.

News, anyone! Pokémon: Different Class is open for business! By which I mean to say, registration of characters. Excited? You should be. Not excited? Why not? What's wrong with you? Wake up and smell the pokémon, guys. Because they've probably just shat on your bedroom floor, what with being wild animals an' all. Ah well.
