Ithilien Ranger

Spoiler

Note that most pretty much all of the skin's credit goes to King Kong of Third Age: Total War mod for Medieval 2. All I did was just put his Dúnedain Textures together and did some small editing.

I also made some changes to the model so that the sheath and quiver use a different texture instead of the bow's.
(Both of those are mine by the way. ^_^ First time rigging too!)

Hope you all like them!

How is it your skin if it's mostly King Kong's?

Just used that one.

He looks fine ingame, so I'm gonna keep it like it is especially because the original ranger face sucked.

And to Rad's post: I know it's not mine, it's Kongs. I plan on adding more of my own skins here once I make them, hence the title "Dúnedain's Skins."

Also note that I'm NOT releasing this. I just made it(edited if you prefer) to add to my game and to use for myself only.

Note that it's not a man of Rohan.

Indeed! I'm going to make some more random skins as well to get some more variety among them once they're ingame.

Truth be told, I never would've guessed. The file name is breelander.jpg so I was simply stating the obvious :p

But I imagne they would be best with many variations. ATM though, they look way to similar to Rohan Peasants in my opinion. Perhaps ditch the helmet?

I thoroughly dislike that model's proportions. Always have. The texture looks good, but perhaps broaden the guy a little.

No fuel left for the pilgrims

Matias: I would if I knew more on how to model, but yes I do agree. I would use a different model but There aren't really any other ones that look like militia

Lauri: I was planning on making random models so that some have helms and some don't. Adding some more armor (pauldrons and Maybe more Chainmail) onto them is another thing I plan on doing.

Thanks for comments though.

I've come a long way from when I first started modelling and I'm proud to say that this is my best work to date. Thanks to all those here who helped me make it so. (You know who you are :p)

Freaking shieeeeeet!

That's cool man. Nevertheless it seems there are some mapping streches but I think you already know about them. I would say something about his front legs but I know the amount of work needed to fix that is totally not worth it. :p

Oooooh Yeah.

I'm considering to attempt it some day, but right now I'm perfectly ok with him being his original western dragon design.
