Hi all... long time, and nm what day it is today ;p I just wanted to drop a quick tip for y'all in case you missed it. The new version of NotePad++ is really a great improvement over the last versions. Do get it for your coding projects :good:

For sure, one of the greatest free tools !!!

For interested users of notepad++, here is my user language made for BFME2 code.
It colors recognized "words" of the language used by EA.
(110 words are recognized as "Folder Open Keywords" and 1040 as "Keywords", plus some others for scripts and less important keywords)

To install it :
- Click on "View" - "User-Defined Dialogue..."
- In the new frame, click on "Import" and locate the XML file joined to this post.
- Close and reload Notepad++ if necessary to make the coloration working.

If others made something like me, maybe we could merge our XML files to make a better one.

Yes but I think there are about 50% of the keywords recognized in my file. I used this color INI when he was done many years ago, and since this time I updated it for me and after I reordered it to recognize many many keywords.

In fact I reordered like that :
-> One color for Folder Open Keywords
-> One color for Keywords
-> One color for scripts (but not really improved cause I never use them)
-> One color for other keywords like #Include, #Define...
