No, it's not the w3d viewer.

Also, emoticons are not a substitute for interpunction.

Figured I'd share over here at lovely Revora as well.

So here we have some new animations for Aragorn I've based from his stuff in the Return of the King and the Third Age games. This video is a bit outdated as I've updated them slightly, but it still shows the gist of what I was going for.

Enjoy! :)

Prince Imrahil is coming to SaF as a recruitable hero for Gondor.

Amroth for Gondor, indeed.

Nicely done as ever. Who's face is that, by the way?

Halbarad and two possible variations of Grey Company rangers who are being added as a tier 3 spellbook summon for Gondor.

N8YUCSe.png

Inspired by this line from the book:

"A little apart the Rangers sat, silent, in an ordered company, armed with spear and bow and sword. They were clad in cloaks of dark grey, and their hoods were cast now over helm and head. Their horses were strong and of proud bearing, but rough-haired; and one stood there without a rider, Aragorn's own horse that they had brought from the North; Roheryn was his name. There was no gleam of stone or gold, nor any fair thing in all their gear or harness; nor did their riders bear any badge or token, save only that each cloak was pinned upon the left shoulder by a brooch of silver shaped like a rayed star."

My only suggestion would be to cover all their mouths in cloth it would make them look more uniform, cool and commando like or at least the hood variant ones mouth since for some reason it seems weirdish but either way their epic.

How old is imrahil? Looks good he just seems too old.

The helms on the grey company Rangers seem too dressed up and ornate for the description from the book. Otherwise it's exceptional work as usual. All of this is just my opinion. Which only has any weight within my mind.

In the last year of the War of the Ring Imrahil would have been 66, so if we're going by Aragorn's standards he shouldn't look particularly old. On the other hand, who knows, maybe Aragorn just aged really well, since we don't have any other Dunedain (unless I'm mistaken) to take reference from.

Imrahil died a natural death at age 100, and Aragorn lived to be 210. While Imrahil was one of the Dúnedain, Aragorn was a man in which the old blood of Westernesse ran especially true, so a direct comparison doesn't make sense. In the same way, Faramir was described several times as resembling Aragorn's stature (but not matching it), and he died a natural death at age 120, so I concluded that Aragorn is an exception and Imrahil should look like he's starting to pass beyond middle age.

As to NJM's comment on the Grey Company; that's Kyle's turf. :p

The helms were born out of a different quote:

"They are strange company, these newcomers,' said Gimli. "Stout men and LORDLY they are, and the Riders of Rohan look almost as boys beside them..."

I decided to go with the Gondorian Fountain Guard style due to the Lordly description Gimli gave of them. (But also because they look damned cool with them xP)
