He could use a bit of colour like some rust on his armour or some red cloth or something.
Other than the he looks alright.

Well, maybe a stripe of red on the bare arms, but overall I like the dreary look. Fits well with Bolg himself. Also, there is some rust on the armor already.

Anyone have any ideas for how some sword variations should look?

I would think a good sword variation with the bodyguards could be the same sword you have and maybe some crude looking scimitars and axes ? Just A Thought

Mumak tusks on arms and shoulders? Really?

Onto something less serious; They look really badass.

Absolutely. Mammûthkil in heat have been known to wander as far as Rivendell, where they had to be put down by Arwen.

Together with the penguins, I assume.

A minor update on the art side of things:

renderm.jpg

The Gundabad Forge. Pretty proud of this one, the lava flows looks pretty real. The forge will work similarly to the Gondor structure.

renderzx.jpg

A rework of the hero Bolg.

Note: I am not planning to follow Weta's design choices for Gundabad creatures. I won't be recreating Weta's Bolg nor Azog.
