Hey Guys,

First off: Move this topic if need be. Second off: Some forum members have been saying anything after 3DS Max 8 (I think) the w3d importer doesn't work. I am here to tell you wrong! I have 3DS Max 2010 and I tested 2011 with this. I first downloaded the w3d importer and put it on my desktop. Then i went to the 3ds max files location, Under scripts and startup i put the importer. Then you can set it up like in RenX. It works on both 2010 and 2011 and my friend told me it works on 2012 also. Everything works like its the regular w3d importer. I might make a tutorial with a few w3d importer things. export w3d and such.

You can import it... but can you get the w3d materials and such working in there too? And the exporter?

Yeah Dragon, it's not the importer that we tell you doesn't work, it the actual SDK and its set of exporters, toolbars and scripts.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Yeah I tried it myself a while back, it will import but it won't export.
