I've been dabbling in the art side of modding, a little more lately. And even though what I've done so far isn't all that great, compared to some things here at T3A, I wanna show it off. biggrin.gif

First off, I have some magical arrows: (I scratch modeled the simple looking arrow)
If you're a fan of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64, then you should recognize these as Link's Fire/Ice/Light arrows. shiftee2.gif

And second, is a banner carrier that I'm in the process of re-skinning. I created a vid to compare them in real time. thumbsupsmiley.gif

Baha.

Nice work there. Are you going to give that concentric glowing ring effect that happens when you fire a Light Arrow a shot?

sig.png
I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Uhm, not sure what you mean there. Isn't that what I've done?

This was a nice break from coding. (Much needed wink_new.gif)

I might touch up the texture some time in the future, but as far as the model goes... Realistically, that's good enough for BFME. Those other models (i.e. the one in my sig) are 5,000-9,000 polies. That's overkill in BFME. wink.gif

Well, when they hit, they expand outward. Like so...

I probably wouldn't do that. Too much work. :p

...

So, anyway, I've been playing with different texture settings on my sword model, and so far this is my favorite.

Didn't Radpsakr create a tutorial on that? I would check T3A.

Yeah, he made a tut on how to get a shine effect, and he demonstrates the coolness here.

...

For what I did, my setup steps are a little different. Although, it was the inspiration for me to do this.

I rigged a few more models in my down time today.

There's no way I could really use those - Nintendo made - Zelda models I found and make a mod out of it.... SO.
My hope is to eventually reskin a large number of EA models to have an appearance of Legend of Zelda characters, and hopefully make a mod out of it someday. Though, I'm not in any kind of hurry. wink.gif
