I think rusty as GH mentioned as the others look too clean. ADmech has a more rust-belt/steam-punk-like feel, no?
But damn.. you guys are ahead on this project if you got a taskbar and icons on the way.
@GH.. we need to discuss re: doing a full voice speech scripts for these guys.. I have the list but we should discuss in the private forums AND ensure both Karandras and Skinnie are involved. Its nowhere near as many units as, say, Alpha Legion (which I think ranks as the faction with the most scripted pieces).

very good texturing job on the task bar, it is a pleasure to see some talent at work !!
rusty +1 but i'd add some tarnished gold to it, or some copper feel. the hide/show task-bar button would be even better with a cogwheel encasing it.
but this is only my opinion.
about the unit icon set : lots of design and creativity , try to darken the icon background [try : dark-copper/rust brown ] to enhance ergonomic and readability , keep the glow around each figure.
