Type: Add-on
Compatibility with Contra 008: it was not checked

Description: Powerful addition which includes both correction of errors of the original, and addition of the theories passing test. Addition is focused first of all on players in Contra 007/008 as they are familiar with mod and can express more certain opinion on made, and also to help with the further development.

Special changes:
1) Sequence of building USA/China is approached to that system that was in earlier games of series CnC. It is made to make accurate sequence of construction of buildings of all generals with almost simultaneous occurrence of munitions factory. And the penalties imposed by small quantity of energy for time of building, no.
2) Resource system has received the changes. For example, generators of money are limited, and supply docks became much more favourable. Besides, the supply centres appear without initial collectors that offers advantages.
3) Side is added: European Union. Its feature – the qualitative superiority over the enemy to the detriment of quantitative. Some units have no analogues at other fractions. Also differs a small amount of buildings, and special unit – the flying superweapon with the limited range of action. Unique fraction from which some general abilities demand for activation some points.
4) «Challenge» has been returned.
5) Those or other changes in units and buildings of all generals. From simple changes of special effects before revision of concepts of units

Known problems:
1) AI
2) "Challenge" at a beta testing stage that is why there can be complexities

That is planned:
1) to Spend more careful balancing of the generals.
2) to Complete «Challenge».
3) to Correct unknown bugs and glitches.
4) Deepening of available theories, addition new, and also deepening of distinctions between generals GLA.
5) to Make more serious AI.

Installation:
1) Download add-on: http://www.4shared.c.../AddonRC2.html.
2) Make sure that you don't have earlier versions of addition. Copy archive contents in a folder with Contra. If asks to replace a file ariag.ttf, it is a file for russification of a game chat.
3) Play!

Removal: remove or move files !C007Addon***.big.

As to test "Challenge": in a new beta it is possible to play for one of 11 generals against 8.
And, almost at each of 11 generals the initial general in competition that simplifies test. At EU the initial general - the Boss, for the sake of the test
Character of testing: play all three difficulty levels against the same general. On a Light to you it should be easy, on Hard - it is heavy, on normal - medium. If somewhere an excess, or defects complexities, inform

I played one game with the European Union. I noticed some things, which I have seen in other mods. Some unit voices, effects, modified models and some cameos. This addon should not be official in my opinion. You need to ask the owners of every single model for permission. Otherwise, the addon is fine. Some cool sounds and ideas.:wink_new:

Moding existing mod, in my opinion,is not a great project...i would suggest to start from beginning,since i see you have good ideas and things...create new mod,i fully support that... ;)

Problem in that modding on Generals has sputtered out, and new mod made from zero, will surprise nobody. And other engines demand too much time both for studying, and for a code writing.
If I did mod, it would be or mini-mod, or dead mod, or "боян".
And Contra involves with the relative completeness. And 3,2 % of realism

Heavy study in high school has brought all to nothing and while I pottered about with the maps, other people did others, and I have simply lagged behind and have thrown all.
