Someone got convinced about something at Revora? I find this disturbing...

Convinced? More like motivated.

I was just too lazy to bother installing Chrome, as IE9 was good enough for me. It was only after trying it, that I decided that it actually is better.

I formed my own opinion. :tongevil:

That's still amazing to me. Usually the common series of events on a debate topic here is:
-State Opinion
-Object
-Argue
-Deny

The fact that you attempted to try Chrome after you admitted hatred for Google is pretty considerable.

Hmm... No, maybe it doesn't then. I'd rather use Ask Jeeves than Bing any day.

Oh dear, recent news tells us that IE keeps losing users. Bill Gates/Steve Ballmer is probably going "GANON!!!! YOU TRAITOR!!!1"

IE just has a bad rap from version 6. The stigma will never die, no matter how much IE improves. And, honestly, version 9 is a very nice version of IE. All it needs is easier access to addons and it would be a fine contender.

The problem with IE 9 is, though it is a massive improvement, it didn't improve in time. It followed behind the popularity of Chrome and Fox and what made them good, but it's too late. People already chose Chrome and Fox as their default before IE learned from its mistakes.

Chrooooooooooooooooooooooooooooome!

I stopped using Firefox because it made my laptop crash about six times in half an hour, so I just gave up and switched to Chrome and now I have Angry Birds and I miss the Live Bookmarks thing. Why has nobody else got around to developing that? It seems like it should be quite straightforward. That's the only little problem I have with Chrome. Everything else seems to work pretty well, I guess.

What's a live bookmark? I bet I can find a Chrome app for it.

It's a thing that Firefox has where it updates the news stories via a drop-down list on your bookmarks toolbar. It was really handy for finding news that actually sounded interesting instead of having to wade through endless streams of puerile drivel to find the good news. I follow the news a lot less now that I use Chrome.

Hmm... not sure how Fire Fox's news system worked but I just found Google News Updater that I'm actually using now. You can filter whatever news you want to hear and it shows the top 5 stories of the day, based on your filters. And the icon is always up in my top-right corner, so I just click and it shows me. You can also make it popup every-time you open chrome.

Chrome used to be much faster than Firefox, but FF8 has tied the game, in my opinion. At the moment, I'm using Firefox, because Chrome gets messed up sometimes by not telling me where a link will take me into. That's the only reason that I use Firefox, otherwise I'd just use Chrome.

That's the common consensus, yes.

FF8

I dunno why I thought out 'Final Fantasy 8' in my head when you said that... But true, Fire Fox has caught up from what I've read. But in the end, I choose the guy that is faster first. ... I could have swore I said this wasn't supposed to be a browser debate... what the crunk.
