Hey gang, what is the best way to start playing the game? I tried dragging the batch file onto the desktop to create a shortcut but for some reason it doesn't work. What do you guys use? I had the mod starter at one time but it no longer works for me.

Double clicking the batch file should work. If you want to create a shortcut, try right clicking it and selecting "Create Shortcut" from the menu, then moving the shortcut to your desktop.

The batch has to be in the same directory as swfoc.exe.

I didn't think about creating a shortcut and then placing on the desktop. That worked out great! Even changed the icon!

A shortcut is supplied with the mod, all one has to do is make sure the path is correct, and it works like a charm. Glad to so you figured it out.

Some people act like dealing with mods is so complicated, but it is not when good directions are supplied by the mod team, and the fact that modern games are very mod friendly for the most part.
