Patch 2 don't want to work

Hi guys, I have some problems with the patch. I installed it but the game don't want to read it somehow. I tried to reinstall the game already. The mod launcher and the patch have the same name, they are in the right folder, I have The First Decade so it already contains the YR patch, even the NPatch is installed correctly... I don't know what to do please help...

If you run the mod and nothing happens, press Ctrl-Alt-Del, kill gamemd.exe and relaunch the mod. It will work after that.

No, the game works perfectly. My problem is with the patch the game says it is not patched. And I can't find the new features what the patch gives for example the allied spies cannot enter enemy buildings and soviets and epsilon doesn't have gates at all.

5. Whoops, another "make sure": make sure you downloaded both files from either ModDB or the official website, because ModDB changes filenames. The thing is that the XMLF file has to have the same filename the launcher does with '00' added to it.

Patches doesn't work in compatibility mode. Try disabling compatibility mode if you have it activated.

It is not that I am having trouble with unknown files, its that even though I follow all the steps correctly, and install the right patches, even with the XMLF file inside the RA2 directory, it still does not have an effect...

I was pondering ideas, and maybe it is because the RA2 and YR directories are not linked?> this might seem like a far-fetched hypothesis( I only say, because it only reads "RA2"), but I am happy to provide screen shots if it will help the trouble shooting of this error.

Ummm... where's the mod launcher? It's good you have Psi Patch 2 there... but you don't have Psi itself.

So what your saying is that I need to have he executable file in the RA2 folder? that makes no sense, but ill try it.

As you can see, filenames are same, except wiith the additional 00 in the end. I never had luck with XCCML 1.09's patching process if I launched the mod from not the RA2 dir.

That also says that you must have the MO launcher in the YR folder. With the matching filenames. I also screencapped my RA2 dir. That's the way.

Without anyone's help I managed to get the patch to work, but the program still has the shut down error, the random "main executable has stopped working" error. any suggestions to get this fixed?

I'm afraid that's a problem that is still plaguing us, and we haven't really found a solution for that yet.

The Focus Tank is it´s unique on 2.0. The Armadillo was planned for the 2.5, which was cancelled.

Yeah, the website is hopelessly outdated. But I have good news. I've begun working on all unit profiles for 3.0 to be placed on the website, so expect some changes in the future. ;)

oh ok, im just remembering that I'm not playing the beta like I was for so long a time. ugh, I loved the armadillo.

Hey speeder, happen to have anything you want tested? I would be happy to start with it all again.
