http://www.johntitor.com/

Here's why it's a bullshit story:

1) This Titor never mentions any specific dates of major events. If he had lived in that time, he could tell you exactly when a particular event had occured. Since no dates arementioned except for years, I have to assume this has been falsified.

2) Titor never mentions any names. He doesn't name a single one in any of his posts. If he knows about these events, he would be able mention who is involved. Again, I have to assume this is fake.

3) The sheer logic of the time travel method is dodgy at best. I don't believe it truly is possible due to the fact that the events HAVEN'T HAPPENED YET. How can you come back from something that hasn't even occured? The idea of worldlines is absurd and should be disregarded since it has no basis in truth, nor does it have any facts supporting the theory.

4) Everything this person talks about seems rather dodgy. I don't see anything deterorating at the same rate he mentions. If you read everything closely, everything starts going downhill in the very next year. This seems very unlikely.

5) The images look sooooooooo fake it's insane. Someone took a lot of time to make an ordinary object look futuristic. It's stupid and utter rubbish.

This seems like a total bullshit story if you ask me. I don't believe any of this shit will happen as he says it simply because he never ONCE mentions a specific date. That should be a dead giveaway, signaling that it's BULLSHIT.

Pff. Time travel. Yeah right. It'd be impossible anyway, since as soon as you moved into the past you'd cease to exist anyway (or you'd forget you'd gone, and you'd be the same "you" that existed back in the time you travelled to). Or into the future.

Definitely a nut job, or someone who had too much time on their hands and decided to make what can only be described as an under-elaborate hoax.

Time travel is essentially impossible due to quantum mechanics. I won't get in to that, but let's just say that by travelling back in time and posting this stuff, he would have changed many things and then he most likely would not have existed.

"A world war in 2015 killed nearly three
billion people. "

You'd have to nuke everyone in China and India plus have normal World War scale deaths to cause that.

"For starters, the fact that I'm here makes it different. I've also noticed
little things like news events that happen at different times, football
games won by other teams, things like that."

No, because quantum mechanics would have altered it to the point that he would most likely not be alive. A general rule of quantum mechanics is, don't learn it. It drove me to insanity, and I've only scratched the surface (You pretty much stay awake at night like a philosopher). This guy demonstrates little to no understanding of these concepts, and his descriptions are crude. Times of football games would not be altered by time travel, because he has nothing to do with them, and events in the past can not be altered by time travel from the future.

In essence, something that happened before the time you travelled back to cannot be changed by your time travel.

"I would guess the temporal divergence between this world line and my
original is about 1 or 2 percent. Of course, the longer I am here, the
larger that divergence becomes from my point of view."

At this point, the differences in the time line would be irreparable, and the temporal divergence would be about 35%.

"I'm not sure what you mean by stable. If you mean mentally, there are many
things that bother me here but being with my parents right now is important
to me. Physically, the only thing really wrong is the number of colds I get."

Let's do some math. 2036 he is supposedly in the military. That means he is 18+. He remembers 2015 well, so let's say John is 36 in 2036. He is born in 2000. At this point, if he travels back to 2004, you would have a serious problem. Two of the same being in one timeline causes entropic cascade failure (Still theoretical, some of you may remember this from a Stargate episode), and Future Johnny would be dead.

"Are you able to return to your home?

Yes."

Not without damaging the timeline even more. If this is true, he would have most likely made the temporal divergence grow exponentially.

"Do people know where you are? Can you communicate with your home?

No. They do not know where I am and I cannot communicate with them.
Interesting idea though. From their point of view, I will return almost
exactly at the same moment I left. From their viewpoint, I will only have
aged more than expected."

When you travel through time (theoretically, as all of this is) you will have aged. However, by travelling forward in time, you should experience aging. So let's say he goes back to 2004 and stays for a year. He then goes to 2036. He has now aged 41 years in the time since he left. Even if this is not so, he would have changed the timeline by travelling back in time enough that his world would not be the same, and he wouldn't be where he thought he was.

"You do not rewrite history. I can only affect what happens here just as
easily as you can. Why do people in this time period worry so much about
time traveler's destroying their world line when they have no problem doing
it themselves every day?"

Because we don't know what's going to happen. This all comes up with the Red Alert thing. Kill Hitler? For all we know, the next Hitler could be the average 30 something executive vice president of a banking firm. The changes that could be made by someone with this sort of knowledge are amazing. You don't have to be the President of the United States to make a world shattering change to every day life. This is just plain old common sense.

"You asked about the North Polar ice pack. I never said the environment
wasn't a problem. Doesn't water expand when it freezes? If the polar ice cap
melted, wouldn't sea level go down? I don't know if there's enough ice for
this to make a difference and I'm not an expert on global warming."

High School chemistry 101. Phase changes. Solids are the most condensed form of matter. Liquid comes next. Then comes gas, and finally plasma. I assume in the future, everyone is retarded.

"Yes, I realize people become hostile. I don't expect anyone to believe me
and I have nothing to sell. I take no offense by it. Just out of curiosity,
if you were a time traveler, what do you think it would take to get people
to believe you?"

I think I would first have to take about 300 people hostage, and then start saying what's going to happen in the next hour. Bzzt! Even creating this website has caused a rift in the future!

"I suppose we could agree that no particular era in history is famous for its
development of humanity but just once I would like to hear questions like,
"What is family life like in the future? How does society deal with poverty?
Is AIDS, abortion and drug use still a problem"

Here's what I want to know. What happens to the AIDS situation in Russia? What about Africa?

"Why don't I give you a stock tip? The money you make would dilute the
intelligence and forethought that a smart person had in picking the stock
all by themselves. If I told you how to get rich, I would be taking money
from them and giving it to you."

No, you'd just damage the timeline. Again, this all goes back to quantum mechanics and temporal mechanics. This doesn't work out when you start to think about it. Theoretically, you are a fucking moron, Tittor.

"I am not aware of any physical change to my DNA or "aura". I do however seem
to be more susceptible to colds"

Actually, there should be more antibodies in your system. Just think about it.

I'll post more about this moron later.

EDIT: Something I had to do.

"Right now, most of our practical missions are from 1960 to 1980. There is a
great deal of research into later and future periods but the farther you go,
the lower the divergence confidence of the world line."

Actually, that's wrong. By going back in time and say, killing the conspirators who killed Caesar, that may have prolonged the Roman Empire. That means perhaps the Holy Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire, etc. may never have existed. This also means we could have all ended up speaking Italian.

Same goes with going back in time to kill someone like Justinian. We could all be barbarians.

It can happen so many ways, but the temporal divergence would be growing exponentially, and the world would change, and people would cease to exist without them ever being. Your consciousness is governed by the laws of temporal mechanics. If time travel is real, and someone goes back and kills someone obscure in history, you could very well cease to exist. Told you temporal mechanics were scary.

Let's go at this again.

"The Constitution was changed after the war. We have 5 presidents that are
voted in and out on different term periods. The vice president is the
president of the senate and they are voted separately."

No, this would never work. To amend the Constitution, all the states must pass the amendments, and redrafting the Constitution to this magnitude is out of the question.

Also he'd be on amendment 350 by now.

"From a physical standpoint, I suppose that would work if you were trying to
escape a natural disaster. But you must consider that trying to "escape" by
time traveling has its own problems. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by
being looked down on."

From a temporal standpoint, you would have again modified the timeline to the point of fragmentation.

"Besides,
can you tell me if it rained in New York on June 4th 1932? You are from
their future so should you know that?"

Well that's pretty fucking stupid. Lots of people know who won the superbowl. Nobody knows the answer to your fucking question.

"Do medical advances in 2036 have anything to do with genetics?

Again, I'm no expert. I believe there is a great deal of progress in
treating the cancer cells with modified viruses. So I guess the answer is
yes."

I'm no expert on medical technology, and you're full of shit, tithead. Viruses can't fight malignant tumors. Tumors are by nature just dividing cells. What makes them so dangerous is the speed at which they divide and the toxins they release when they do so. Viruses won't do shit, and even if they did, you'd need to customize them to every person's individual DNA. Give it say 75 years, and at least 8-9 veritable LEAPS in medical technology, and maybe, just maybe we can do what you say tithead.

"In my 2012, I was 14 years old spending most of my time living, running and
hiding in the woods and rivers of central Florida. The civil war was in its
7th year and the world war was three years away. Yes, there are unusual
events in 2012 but they do not cause the world to end. Unfortunately, I have
decided not to discuss events that you or I can do anything about. It is
important that they be a surprise. Perhaps you are familiar with the story
of the Red Sea and the Egyptians?"

Ok, so I was wrong before. Still, entropic cascade failure. On December 23rd, 2012, the world is supposed to end according to the Maya. I'm staying up that night until it's 1 AM in Mexico.

"I believe the explanation for the "great flood" stories originate with the
changes that occurred near the Mediterranean at the end of the last ice age.
Even on this worldline, there is a great deal of evidence to support the
fact that sea levels did change radically in isolated areas worldwide."

How would he know this anyways? The person who asked the question is a total fucking moron, but beside that. It's been pretty much decided by most archaeologists studying the Mediterranean that the Bible was full of shit. Hey, even the Old Testament had it's historical inconsistencies.

"Where is the new US capitol?

The new US capitol is in Omaha Nebraska."

Now anyone with half a brain can answer that. That's like saying "Ok, we're moving the capital of Russia to Petropavlosk!"

"Outright open fighting was common by then and I joined a shotgun infantry
unit in 2011. I served with the "Fighting Diamondbacks" for about 4 years.
(Hearing in my right ear isn't as good as I would like it). The civil war
ended in 2015 when Russia attacked the U.S. cities (our enemy), China and
Europe. As unusual and bad as my childhood might seem, I wouldn't trade it
for anything."

Wait a fucking minute. INCONSISTENCY!!!! Let's say he joins a "Shotgun Infantry Regiment" (Shotguns will be outdated in a year or so). He just did it at age 12.

Also, more about the fact that he can't possibly still be alive unless he killed himself as a child and then just caused his own death. Entropic cascade failure (won't attempt to explain this, but you guys probably get it already, ok, just guess.). Well, he can't very well travel back in time to when he was alive, because that just violates every rule of temporal mechanics, and some quantum laws.

"Yes, EMP took out a great number of electronic devices. That's one of the
reasons why we don't have reliable technology laying around. However, in the
opening hours of N Day, the Russians did not launch any high altitude
detonations. They knew we would most likely clean up after them so they
wanted everyone outside the cities to be able to communicate. Most of the
warheads that hit the cities came in threes and exploded close to the
ground. The heavy EMP damage was isolated to those areas.
Actually, you will probably be quite impressed with our Internet. It's based
on a series of independent, self-powered nodes that are mobile and can be
put up anywhere. It looks a great deal like your current cell phone system."

He just contradicted himself once, and then he just made no sense at least 4 times.

I'm gonna keep reading this shit. I'll post the interesting stuff.

"What exactly happens to the water?

Yes, radiation affected the water but that can always be distilled out.
There are biological hazards that cannot. In addition, fresh water is hard
to come by without talking to someone with a gun first."

Someone's been playing too much Fallout.

This may not be fair but:
"ARTIFICIAL MICROSINGULARITY = LOCALIZED KERR FIELD Is this a prediction?

We have our swamp monsters too. In fact, I think it's interesting that we
all respond to the unknown the same way regardless of our cultural
experiences."

An artificial microsingularity would probably swallow up a good part of the planet. Feel gravity shifting?

"How can I leave a message for myself in the future if the things I do in
this worldline do not affect any other?

Just post it here. All this information will probably end up on the web in
2036. If you're alive then and you think ahead for some reason to do a
search on yourself, you might see it. Of course the "you" there would have
no memory of doing it."

The reverse of that is true. If I were to do something now, I would remember it just as clearly in 5 years.
