Anyway, back on topic. The story is false as I had originally thought.

The guy stole the whole idea from a game. Inventive but complete bullshit.

OK... that person had WAY too much time on hand...

I'd write stuff like that if I got the chance.

Moot point, but ever put a plastic waterbottle in the freezer, spence?
And I thought dec 23 2012 or somesuch was just the end of the mayans first great cycle...are we supposed to be 'recycled' before the second one? :p

Ever create a microsingularity, darknes? Think the inverse.

23 Dec 2012 is the end of the world according to the Mayans.

Nope, over my head, I just know that (in 'normal' circumstances IE waterbottles, glass jars) when water freezes it expands...

Meh, not true. When you boil water it expands. It depends on the energy in the molecules. That decides it's form of matter.

"High School chemistry 101. Phase changes. Solids are the most condensed form of matter. Liquid comes next. Then comes gas, and finally plasma. I assume in the future, everyone is retarded."

H2O is the only exception =/

H2O is not an exception! Water expands when it is thawed. Try it. Take an ice cube, put it in a glass, and the general volume is more than when it was an ice cube.

When you boil water it expands

True...

It depends on the energy in the molecules

True...

That [energy] decides its form of matter.

True...

Solids are the most condensed form of matter

False: Solids are the least energetic for of matter...

H2O is the only exception

Only to the above quote...

Water expands when it is thawed

So water expands when it freezes and when it's thawed? It's a cure to world thirst!
Go freeze your plastic waterbottle spence! Fill it all the way to the top, and put it in the freezer, now wait a day or so...What shape is the bottle now? :p
While the reduction of energy usually causes the contraction of liquids (to solids), the structure of ice has a lot of 'empty space' between the molecules or whatever...

Congratulations. That has nothing to do with the topic at hand!
Solids are the most condensed, and least energetic. Thank you for restating something you'd find in a text book.

No, it's just when someone proves my own point and says they're proving me wrong, I get a little pissed.

But the water example proves that solids are not always the most condensed for of matter...
