Now, I never feel I need to warn of graphic videos here, but this takes the cake on how graphic it can get:

http://barenakedisla...graphic-images/

"In a horrific display of barbarism, a masked person claiming to be Abu Mus’ad Al Zarqawi slaughtered American contractor Nick Berg. Sitting in a chair, Berg made the following statement: “My name is Nick Berg, my father’s name is Michael, my mother’s name is Susan,” the man said on the video. “I have a brother and sister, David and Sarah. I live in … Philadelphia.”

The video then changes to a scene of masked men, with Berg sitting in front of them. After reading a statement, the masked men were seen pulling the man to his side and putting a large knife to his neck. A scream sounded as the men cut his head off, shouting “Allahu Akbar!” – “God is great.” They then held the head out before the camera"

And this is fresh news? I think I recall this was something that happened a few years back. I didn't watch the clip then I don't feel like breaking my stride on it now :thumbsdownsmiley:

People have done and will do terrible things on camera. Be it for religion, pleasure, or profit. To watch it is to give them what they want, in my opinion.

Also, I think all the focus on Muslim bad-guys obfuscates the real political battles being fought these days in western nations. Battles of economic ideology.
One might even say that its gainful for the weapons industry to have media and politicians and pundits talk about the evil of Muslims all the time. It rationalizes and sweetens the wars for the population.

I just recently heard about it, but I'm pretty sure this was recent. But yea, stuff like this is just a distraction; a scapegoat for real issues. If a few radicals decide to kill some Americans, dwelling on that is foolish to me. It's a factor in needing the debates and wars, but stuff like beheading and 9-11 is just fluff. Oh, but the main reason I had to bring up Nick Berg was because his father is blaming George Bush on his death. ... Now that's far'fetched. Then again, I heard rational people blame Bush for Hurricane Katrina, so I guess I'm not surprised.

Oh, it's common practice in the Islamic world, especially in Saudi-Barbaria:

And they probably would say that we are worse when we assassinate/kill people from afar with drone-missiles. We're all hypocrites in whom we think deserves to live or die.
