Notes: [basic infantry. Mostly human voice, though Low Gothic dialects on forge worlds are a little more toneless, it’s not completely flat, speaking through a mechanical modulator, maybe something like between a guardsman and a space marine without the heroic quality. They should play a little bit like a guardsman squad, but with slightly less movement speed and slightly more firepower. Suggest their early tier anti-infantry heavy weapon should be a thin red laser beam that does damage in a straight line. Their later tier anti-infantry heavy weapon should be Sonic Disruptor, which has slow cooldown and fires a blob of distortion that does damage to anyone it washes over]

-AdMech are a bit reminiscent of the IG, but have a distinct playstyle even more different from IG than Steel Legion

-like Guardsmen, Hyspasists start out pretty weak with low morale

-Mechanicus units are not particularly strong to start with, but rely on combined arms (particularly war machines) and buffs from nearby Magos and researches to reach their full potential.

-Mechanicus have loads of exotic technologies (researches)

-With the exception of Assault Hyspasists, Mechancius are not very speedy but instead if unchecked will outproduce the enemy by turning their base(s) into giant super productive factories that can quickly replace losses if the resources are at hand

-In addition to the dedicated research building, many mechanicus buildings have both training and research purposes

-the more of a unit type you have, the slower that unit type builds. Not as pronounced as Necrons with warriors, but present

-researches are very slow, but are priced down a bit so that you easily have a lot your buildings humming with researching almost all the time

-Instead of single Tier researches, you go up a tier when you’re done a certain number of researches

-All or nearly all Mechanicus units/researches/ abilities cost a lot power compared to those in other factions

-All units are much more effective (health and attack) when within the radius of a Magos Artisan, Magos Explorator, or Arch Magos.

-Morale recovers more slowly than other factions, so you want to keep builders around to quickly build Machine Icons

-Tribune Senioris and Tribune Mechanicus give bonuses to the squad they’re attached to

-Buildings are quite cheap and some, after research, get some minimum self defenses

-like the IG, squad and vehicle cap increase by constructing more buildings. Each building increases cap only a little so you build a lot of them

-each building you build makes units trainable at that building, train a little faster. So your vehicles train a little faster the more Fabricators you have, etc

-when Hyspasists/Sagitarii break, they duck as if in cover, lose all ability to fight, take less range damage, and have slower movement. Basically like they get pinned

-Cataphractii and Praetorians cannot attack when their morale breaks

-your servitors should have very good morale, so Constructor Servitors, Gun Servitors, Praetorian Servitors

-Because most units need a research to begin training and researches are pretty slow, you have to really customize your army mix in early/mid game especially

-Knight Titans have a passive ability to do morale damage in a radius around them, obviously not as much as flamers. The purpose of the warhorns to is demoralize the enemy
