Pezhetairoi Productions are looking for some new modders to join it's ranks.

Pezhetairoi Productions is a new team that will soon start developing a Total Conversion mod set in the Ancient World for BFME2.
Details on the mod are still confidential as the project is still under wraps.
This new project promises to provide a great gaming experience in an interesting Historical Period.

Currently Pezhetairoi Productions are looking for 3d Modellers, 2d artists, Mappers as well various other positions on the team.
These positions suit both experienced modders and up and comers.
Newer modders will have the chance to learn and improve their skills on this ambitious project.

The mod will start production sometime around April but early development is already under way with most of the planning stage finished.

I'm excited about being part of Pezhetairoi Productions and this new project lending my experience and coding talents to the project.

So if you are interested or have any questions post below or send me a PM.

Time to try to get this project up and running again.

This time I'll reveal a little about it.

The project is called Wars of the Ancient World:Alexander

The idea is to create a mod set during Alexander the Great's time and follows his conquests from Macedon through Greece, the Balkans, Persia and the Indian states.

There will be 2 focuses for this project skirmish and a campaign that retells the campaign as historically accurate as possible.

The Alexander project has been benched for a while now because I was unable to find any artists at the time.

But I'm going to give this another shot.

Looking for 3d artists, texture artists and mapping possibly a second coder.

My job will be leader and possibly main coder.

Some code is already done and a lot of planning has been made.

So let me know if you are interested this should be a really cool mod if I can get the people for it.

Oh, so when you, last year, said April, you actually meant this April? Go figure :p

If you need Indian Armor References I've got a few. I had also started skinning a Macedonian Soldier, but lost interest in it so if you want that I can give that to you, it works with the Gondor Soldier, didn't get around to making Weapons for it.

At this point every little thing helps.

The textures I can do the tricky part is the 3d modelling which I need quite a bit of.

I'm not going to use DIGI for this since I still have tons of LW stuff for him to do.

Still looking to continue this project.

I'll reveal some more information on the mod.

I'm planning 3 primary factions for Skirmish mode with possible subfactions added later on.

The 3 factions are Macedon, Achaemenid Empire (Persians) and the Indian states pretty much the 3 main parts of Alexander's campaigns Greece,Persia and India.

Each faction will be unique and will cover the vast array of units and cultures that made up the armies.

Rather than using the standard building system and having faction themed structure designs this mod aims for something different.

Players will start with a base that will be much like the BFME 1 camps but they'll also have the option to build additional camps and defences via a builder.

Making the build system a combination of BFME1 and BFME2 styles.

Instead of the usual stone, wood or brick structures most RTS games build bases will be more tent based so bases will more realistically reflect military bases.

A mercenary system is in being planned as well having Mercenaries being recruitable on the map and vary from place to place.

Mercenaries will function very differently from regular units instead of building them one at a time they'll come in designated amounts once you've hired them.

So you could get 2 battalions of mercenaries turn up at once.

They'll require a salary to keep them fighting if you can't afford to keep paying they'll leave.

Mercenaries also won't cost Command points but there'll be a limit on how many Mercenaries you can hire (it will be pretty high though).

I really like the idea of a tent based building system. One of my biggest problems with BFME2 was how you'd always end up building these massive fortresses on every battlefield, instead of actual encampments.
