I was being modest... it might be a big access problem. It took some time to get here, actually. I don't know if it's just me or it's an actual site issue, but I can't access the forum home page. Every time, in any way I try and access the forums, it begins a download of... something. Not a clue. It's just called 'download'. And I'm taken to no page. So... what's the deal?

By the way Sith, that's what I was referring too on MSN if it is actually just me.

Hmm, visitors of my site also have this problem. So far it seems to be an issue only in Chrome, and I haven't been able to reproduce this, but several people have reported this already. Strangely, it's only on our main page as well, other pages work fine.

The PHP service was screwed up due to failed attempt to improve something in the server, but the problem was already fixed (otherwise you wouldn't be posting here).

No, the problem persists. I can get into the news section of Revora, and luckily Phill posted the 'Happy New Years' topic there, which allowed me to get to the news forum category which allowed me go traverse to here, but the board index still can't be accessed.

I'm still getting the problem with Chrome.
I'm currently using Firefox and it seems to work.
I should also mention problem also occurred with the t3a page.

It's a Chrome issue? For Sam's sake... why do they have to give fuel to other browsers? But there has to be a way to fix this. This only started yesterday for me, and I just have to figure what I did differently... unless the problem wasn't from my side...

I'm using Firefox here, so I'm not having any problems. I have no idea why Chrome tries to download the php page as a file.

Have you tried to clear the cache from your Chrome?

PS: I've tested Chrome here and the forum index loaded correctly.

Yea, that was one of the first things I tried. But I guess it screws up for individuals randomly... or not randomly. But I'll do some research on the matter and see if I can get some answers.

Erm... so I figured it out. One site said it had something to do with Java... so I updated my Java and now it works. Not sure what java has to do with anything about this, but apparently it was doing something.

I noticed the problem with CNCNZ.com yesterday. Browser tried to download the .php file rather that load/display it. I left Banshee a message on MSN, then left for work. Returned about 8 or 9 hours later and everything was normal again. All sites I've tested (CNCNZ.com/PPM/Revora/Freedom) all 100% working in Firefox, Chrome and IE.

Are you sure that you've left a message to me? I haven't got anything from you on MSN in this month.

Although I find it strange that such a "download" would be cached, Chrome is known for rigorous caching, and a problem such as this normally occurs for everyone, every time. Therefore, caching is also my guess.

It's a weird download. I tried to upload it just incase it was relevant to anything, but when I go to browse for it, it didn't exist. And it couldn't be opened by anything... so I dunno what the download is about.

I had this issue when I wanted to go directly to MO forums and PPM forums but when I cleared cache (Chrome) everything was fixed.

A Skype friend of mine had the same issue with Chrome, but I had him wipe his cache with CCleaner and all was gewd.
